Corvette 98, Boxter 99, 350z 2003 or 2003 subaru STI, wich?

what car would u choose?

not only about perf. but for styling too?

blah 02-25-2004 11:47 AM

You cant get a Z06? I still say corvette first, if you dont mind only having a 2 seater. STi if you want a sedan.

ahmedgiyab 02-25-2004 11:48 AM

if Boxter S, than thats it! If its the 2.5 Boxter, then the 350Z!

corvette97 02-25-2004 11:59 AM

thnxs!! i thinks its between the vette, boxter and STI, the 350z is way too expensive

Chaos in 1983! 02-25-2004 12:08 PM

For how much can you get a vette or a boxter in guatemala?

enigmatic 02-25-2004 12:16 PM

what about the RX-8??
otherwise, i'd go for the STi or 350Z.
really depends weather you need more than two seats.. :?

The359 02-25-2004 12:18 PM

*cough* BoxSter *cough*

Anyway, these four cars all seem to fit different niches. I'd think the Subaru would be the most practical of the four, or the Nissan. Corvette and Boxster would be more expensive. I'd consider the Subaru the best looking the best out of the four as well.

aawil 02-25-2004 12:21 PM

The 99 boxster was a bad year.Engine failures would scare me away especially if you don't have a porsche warranty. You can currently get a brand new 04 vette for almost 10 grand off list price.A base car for about 35 grand. I'm thinking about getting one it's more than I want to spend but to have a new car and warranty not to mention that level of performance is pretty unbeatable.

LotusGT1 02-25-2004 12:50 PM

350Z would be my pick.

The Boxster will get a face-lift within a year (AFAIK), the Corvette, although fast, is definately not my style, and the Subaru is only a choice whenever you need the space.

Assuming these options are for your new ride, why not an Audi S4 ?

Sp00ln 02-25-2004 12:53 PM

Performance = STi
Style = 350z
If it was a newer corvette, it would fill in the two spaces above.

callen 02-25-2004 01:14 PM

98 vette for me...thats second yr of the C5 i believe... most affordable as well , and a car i hope to buy by the time i am thirty(well by that time i hope it is a 2006 Z06!)

Garretts_turbo 02-25-2004 01:35 PM

whichever one is the least common in myarea!
no, but really i would test each of them and take whichever one makes me the happiest. i love the Z's styling as well as the vettes so one of those most likely. the STi is a good choice too, but not for me

corvette97 02-25-2004 01:39 PM

well for CHAOS IN 1993, the boxter would be around 39k usd$ in perfect cond. for a 2001 and for the corvette like 38k usd$ for a 1998/1999.

here, the prices here for sportscars are high, i woulnt even think to buy it here, thats why i have to fly to miami, search a good ride and then ship to GUA. and then pay the taxes and finally get my car, if everything goes the right way the money will be available by the end of the year, or within the first month of 05. FG

i consider cars cheaper than 20k, because i have to add taxes, and shipping rates.

maybe is too soon to think about wich one, but this car has to be especial, and by the time i have the money the prices will be a lil lower.

i have seen a S4, aahhhh shit soo nice (2.7l v6 TT)

look at it --->audi S4 <-----

JiggaStyles09 02-25-2004 01:48 PM

i say the vette as well, but if you need more than 2 seats the STI would be my next choice. i personaly dont care for the boxter, it screams "hey my wife let me borrow her car for the day."

LotusGT1 02-25-2004 01:48 PM

Well, what's keeping you from getting an S4 ?

Silvia_Drift 02-25-2004 02:17 PM

I would say the STi. You can't ignore the performance of this car. It is the fastest accelerating of the bunch and has 4WD. I also think its aggressive styling is the best looking. Another plus for this car is that it is the most practical and reliable if taken care of.

corvette97 02-25-2004 03:43 PM

whats keeping me from buying the S4,

i dont have the money yet :( and my parents know that its a twin turbo car.

altezza 02-25-2004 04:04 PM

my preference
1) Porsche Boxster
2) 350Z
3) Subaru STi
4) Corvette

abarth 02-25-2004 04:12 PM

For me

1)porsche Boxster
2)Subaru STi
3)Corvette
4)350z

SPEEDKILLAR 02-25-2004 05:46 PM

Corvette 98 8)

Sp00ln 02-25-2004 06:44 PM

For people who are choosing the porsche boxter... I want to ask, why?

zr2man99 02-25-2004 09:04 PM

If it were me:
1) Corvette
2) STI
3) 350z
4) Boxster

When you ride around in a boxster you pretend your in a 911, but everyone around you will know that you couldn't afford one. Its a girly car too.

Man I wish I got a selection like that when I was 17. I got a ragged out blazer.

ibetipsy 02-25-2004 09:08 PM

2003 350Z such an interesting car, plus what more do you need than a track model? its perfectly set up for pure fun. Vette has a new model (i personally hate driving in previous gen cars) Boxster doesnt come close in speed plus u would be stuck with the base model and warrantyless. STi would be my second pick but buy a sound system

i am gonna ge tfrom my parents a mazda3 or a polo 1.6,

any of these cars will be bought with my own money, within a year, but i have to work hard... twice as hard, you know school and a lil bussines FG. !

zr2man99 02-25-2004 10:18 PM

You must have a nice business. When I was 17 I was working at Wendy's making minimum wage.

corvette97 02-26-2004 01:04 PM

i am about to put a MX store and a MX service store down here

cavallino 02-26-2004 04:55 PM

The 350Z.

FoxFour 02-28-2004 01:06 AM

STi or 350Z. I do like the Boxsters, but with 350Z putting out over 270 hp in a V-6 package that is also well balanced, I would say that the 350Z is a better car than the Boxster.

oscargarza88 02-28-2004 01:09 AM

sti or 350z easy, but the rest r ok
