that's a pretty good look car anyway.

Evo 02-24-2004 05:42 PM

The Hood reminds me of TVR tuscan S..
I really like the way that roof is on the car.. very nice way and new too
But it looks like it got a very different design that we are use to from Ferrari.
You never know maybe Chris Bangle went to ferrari now..

stradale 02-24-2004 06:12 PM

Looks like a design of Fioravanti. I'm curious as to what it is. Is it new?

Spum_Bamb 02-24-2004 06:45 PM

HI guys.... new to Jabbasworld, but awesome forum!

Headlights look like similar to those of the Enzo

stradale 02-24-2004 07:06 PM

Welcome! I hope you'll like it.

You scared me though. I mistook your name for Spam_Bamb, LOL.

BaseRSX 02-24-2004 08:54 PM

I would really love to know more about this car. Can anyone confirm that this is a Ferrari? Also don’t think the car is being called "Castagna" I think that is the location of the pics? Maybe they are the same? But nothing at all came up on Google for "Ferrari Castagna"...

oscargarza88 02-24-2004 08:57 PM

it looks way to futuristic, but its a nice concept

cho_888 02-25-2004 02:39 AM

memphis- 02-25-2004 04:19 AM

cho_888 02-25-2004 06:22 AM

it reminds me of the following,
360, lotus else, koenigsegg, 612, carrear GT, TVR, auston martin...
a bit of everything really

LotusGT1 02-25-2004 06:55 AM

front looks like the Fioravanti F100...same designer ?

The359 02-25-2004 10:10 AM

Argh, two people in this thread saying "Austin Martin"...it's Aston people, don't make me have to hurt you...

Anyway, I think it looks very Lotus Elise-ish, but as a coupe instead of a roadster.

I'm sure it's a typo...

enigmatic 02-25-2004 11:54 AM

that front badge does look kinda like that of Ferrari..
i thought (atleast historically) Castagna was more Alfa-orientated.

enigmatic 02-25-2004 12:03 PM

MILAAN - the Italian coachwork builder Carrozzeria Castagna is not yet or it during the car fair of Genève beside the fantastic mini truck also exhibits the futuristic lined prototype on the basis of Ferrari. If the bolide gives the presènce to acte is one of the most striking cars of the show. Not most beautiful.

How gladly Carrozzeria Castagna lay a link between Ferrari and its prototype, it never Ferrari become be or. The red raspaardjes Modena have one after the other arisen from a myth, with formula 1 first. Although it lasts again some time before particularly fraaie Ferrari have the stable leave are not appropriate the Rossellini correctly concept in the spirit of the sportwagenmerk.

Tsjilp 02-25-2004 04:44 PM

This article says:

This concept is the work of "Carrozzeria Castagna", so castagna isn't the name of the conceptcar, but it is the name of the firm.

The conceptcar was named after Roberto Rossellini, who was ferrari car freak or something like that :-) (so the name of the concept: rossellini)

Under the hood they've installed the V12-motor from Gt-raceversion of 550 Maranello with about 720 hp

(my english is sooo bad  )

Hayate 02-25-2004 05:39 PM
