hahaha.....he'll never own the newer GT-R.....he still like the ones not controlled by electronic gizmos.

hehe - yeah, I am a little embarassed to admit I really like the old 6-banger girl :P I have restrained myself from doing the normal Forza3 thing of going AWD and modern engine upgrade, and stuck with a simple cam and bolt on strategy, yields about 290bhp. Couple with -1.8 camber and sticky street tyres is the perfect tool for Japanese mountain roads... hell I bet they could base an entire performance genre off this one car - wait.... they did LOL :lol:

QUick n dirty upload of the 79 Junkyard Camaro in action. the anemic 175bhp V8 is bumped to 197bhp 303lbftwith exhaust headers, air cleaner and rejetted carb and 100% stock tyres, suspension and 3541lbs weight.

0-60 6.9s, 0-100 18s, top speed 128mph, 60-0 145ft and 0.8 g's at 60mph

I feel like that stock Camaro suspension would be showing the body roll a lot more than that. infact it looks flat as a plane ground around those mountain corners..

Well, I am sure Turn 10 are modelling a NEW 1979 suspension, not an old wore out one - there is a fair amount of body roll, but I also believe it is being offset by the sever lack of grip. The more grip, the more body roll. Perhaps the lack of body roll is more of a damning of their tyre model than the anything else...

...or perhaps you are expecting a 1979 Camaro to suck a lot more thna it does LOL.

I might redo the car with a full upgraded suspension set to full soft to mirror a wore out 30 year old suspension.
