Top 10 cars
 

I was watching the newest Top Gear and Jeremy mentioned something about a top 10 list of cars. It got me thinking and I wanted to see what others top 10 cars are. Screw availability, price and practicality...you can have whatever you want for whatever reason and you dont have to explain why unless you want too.

Heres mine (in no particular order):

1. Either a Brabus or Renntech V12 E class.
2. Ferrari F50
3. '93 GMC Typhoon
4. Hummer H1 with .50 cal machine gun on top, otherwise there would be no point in having a Hummer
5. '67 Shelby Cobra with a Chevy ZL-1 aluminum 427...me no likey Ford!
6. Old school Mini with a turbo Hayabusa engine in front and back.
7. Bugatti 16/4...4 turbos!!!
8. '63 split window Vette with new model ZO6 engine, suspension and brakes
9. '98 Diablo GT orange and black
10. And of course my '63 NovaSS transformed into a full strip car with a blown big block Hemi...I will accept 8 sec. or less! No exceptions!

Man that list went away quick. I think im going to have to sleep on it and perhaps edit it later. No point in adding more slots cause I would just keep adding them.

by the way,there is a mini in the uk that has a hayabusa engine in it,but not in the bak,just the front and its insanely quick

this is all based on looks, performance, luxury on paper. they are in order and the reason why s15 is on top is because its what i currently drive. also i just went thru the latest car mag. couldn't be bothered finding old cars

i wonder if the owner will turbo charge it?
could easily get 300hp

there is already a 300+hp one,it has a vauxhaul touring car engine in it

1. 1969 Yenko Camaro 427 (too bad they had to have that fake one in 2Fake 2Foney, although the movie wasn't as bad as i expected)

3. Lamborghini Diablo SV or the 6.0
4. Ferrari Enzo (in a recent north american magazine, it tested faster than a mclaren f1 to 60, 100, and just about everything else, spectacular car)
5. Ferrari 355 or 360 (and in no way did that picture in the corner of the screen influence my decision :wink: )
6. Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (sure it's not a car, but whoa is it fast and gorgeous looking)
7. Mercedes SL55 AMG (yes, i know it's a hairdressers car, but jeremy has one and it's so damn fast)
8. Porsche 911 turbo (993 is still my favorite)
9. BMW M5 (i've always wanted one, and still do, even tho that new E55 mercedes is quite faster, but the new M5 should top that i'm sure)
10. damnit, only 10 cars.. ok, i'll have to go with a Corvette Z06 just because it's sounds so loud

nice....some good cars comin in....69 Yenko, Charger, both american classics, the one in 2Fast looked nice but yea it was a fake. a real Yenko will cost almost a half a million now!!! yikes!!

actually i do like the car.. i was just joking around a little.. my friend was going to buy one back in high school a couple of years ago, but the guy never sold the car.. it's definetly the "standout" porsche for me, as it has no resemblance to any other porsche

That is one of the reasons of why I like it. No other Porsche looks anything like it.

motor magazine reckon it's one of the greatest cars of all time!

I prefer Top 7 because it is so nice to have different cars in each day of a week. Preferably all black in color. 8)

its a great car no doubt, but it was up against a porsche and it beat it to Performance COTY. i reckon nissan paid a nice sum to motor mag for that.

but i am waiting for fren to bring his new toy he got in japan, i think he got the canon eos-1d, costs like AUD$16,000. absolutely crazy!!!

I wish I still had the video of it, but it was an old Mini with AWD. It spanked a Diablo in a drag race, the thing was faster than shit. It hit the half way mark before the Diablo got a quarter of the way down the track.

ive been lookin at the old mini for a while now and i want to make it real fast but most of the old minis nearby are already restored...i dont want to pay more money then have to take all that shit off, but one of these days i tell you....

Thats the problem here. I have only seen one old style Mini Cooper for sale. It was about half restored not even done and the guy wanted like $8,000 for it! I also have a magazine with an article about coarse racing. It was like 10 events long and there was a Mini in it. It was pretty good at the coarse racing and dominated the drag event. The magazines car was a Mercedes S600 w/ the Twin Turbo V12. Yeah the mini beat it in a drag race.

I've just bought a very interesting car magazine today. They review the Audi S4, Clio V6 and do a comparison between the Murciélago & Pagani C12S. But there's also a Top 100 car's from wich I will mention the first 10.

hahahaha, lol :lol: . I don't like the looks of the Aston Martin Vantage, but I still got respect for what it is (550hp was a lot). And a lada, to be honest my mom used to have on. If we had to pass a tractor, we had to wait till we went downhill, and if she pushed the gass pedal down the whole car started shaking :lol: If we didn't go fast enough she would let me step out and push :wink: no not really :P , but old lada's were crap.

NO I am serious. A civic is a great econ car and is also graet to look at. Before a civic econ cars were cheap, and horrible boxes. a Civic si with 700hp, with a supra engine? I am so positive that is not made for the general public. 700hp in a car as light as a civic, stock? I find that hard to beleave.

All I have to say is Ferrari 355 is only the top 10 list.

This is a sweet list--very nicely balanced. Btw Zippo, I think he meant the new concept AMV8, not the ancient brick-like one.

Ok, that's a different car then the one I had in mind. The one you mean looks much better, I must say.

Yeah it's gorgeous, although I still prefer the slightly more muscular looks of the Vanquish myself. This one's a bit too overdone looking for me.

Old, Boring, Uncharismatic, Dull and Plain....

Just check out the "King" tiff needell review...and you will see why these are such poor handling cars....honestly they often pass me and no one in the car even notices them...until I point out that an £80,000 car has just gone past...and everyone is like....where ??? and I am like....exactly....they just dont look special..

Maybe I will see them differently when I am 70....especaily as Aston Martins are supplied with a pipe and slippers at my local dealership...
