Just think that wrecked Enzo is still probably worth more than most people’s house, cars, and savings put together!

damn........................nice luggage? umm i'll buy the scraps!..i hope it at least died doing what it was meant to do on a track

FerrariFerrari 02-05-2004 06:55 PM

It still appears to be very fixable. Just a little front end work, that's
only about a $200,000 repair. I've seen cars that looked much
worse than that restored to near perfect condition, of coarse they're
never exactly as they were before the unfortunate incident.

tigerx 02-05-2004 06:56 PM

i wanna bitchslap the driver so bad man.

Chingachgook 02-05-2004 07:03 PM

DOH!!!!
I hope the chassis isn't damaged, so he can repair the car

On the contrary, the first thing I said when I saw the Enzo for the first
time was "can't wait to see some photos of one of those things crashed".
Perhaps I'm just a sick guy, but that's the way I feel about it. I do feel
a slight bit of sympathy for the driver though(just a slight bit).

coloradosilver 02-05-2004 07:06 PM

I'd like to know the story behind this. Who knows, Maybe it wasn't his fault, maybe someone hit him. Either way, it's just too soon for this stuff to start happening to these cars. I really hope that it's repairable.

His insurance company is going to shit kittens when they get that bill!!

Vansquish 02-05-2004 08:56 PM

I'm fairly confident that that is the car that Sergei Fedorov crashed into a tree...he was drunk and on a public road, probably turned of the T/C and lost it...wasn't even a high-speed accident.

SFDMALEX 02-05-2004 09:01 PM

ohh my god. This is sad.

Poor Car, It will be restored by someone for sure, best of luck to them.

666fast 02-05-2004 09:10 PM

Well that sucks, but if the owner is willing to do so, I'm sure Ferrari will fix it like new.

ben 02-05-2004 09:16 PM

i wonder what the repair costs of that is

Chaos in 1983! 02-05-2004 09:21 PM

This is so sad....that crash just knocked a couple hudred thousand dollars of the resale price....

mazmazmaz1 02-05-2004 09:50 PM

Thats horrible I wonder what the man felt after the crash

dylan99 02-05-2004 10:01 PM

OMG, this is some cruel shit If that was my Enzo I would never stop crying. I hope the guy didn't lend the car to someone and then the guy or women crashed it.

JizJizJiz 02-05-2004 10:57 PM

Sucks.

BADMIHAI 02-05-2004 11:07 PM

It's probably close to the price of the car. Most of it can't be repaired, since it's mostly carbon, it'll have to be replaced. Which is gonna cost a buttload of money.

PANASSIS 02-07-2004 05:39 AM

Some new pics:

cho_888 02-07-2004 06:24 AM

ohh that hurts. i wonder how safe it is. the nose isnt really like that of a formula one car by the looks

sikx5 02-07-2004 09:40 PM

oh shit more pics. Thanks for sharing, you guys see the spoiler is up as well...lol..its in a auction yard by the looks. doese anyone know where? id buy it for a couple hundered thousand.

all the carbon parts would have to be replaced or you can make up some fibre glass bits :) which might destroy the balance of the car, but thats defintley fixable.
Best of luck to the new owner

adlinyusman 02-07-2004 11:27 PM

well..back to italy i suppose. I don't think anyone can make it drive the way it was b4, and i don't think Maranello will do the repairs until it's finished most of it's enzo quotas anyways..

5vz-fe 02-08-2004 03:04 AM

take the engine out and put it on a Lada........
<Flame suit on>

oantob 02-08-2004 06:30 AM

the most sad thing is the insurance company that covers that car..? the boss said to the employee, next time don't take enzo's..

PANASSIS 02-08-2004 06:48 AM

Hey a new little accident. I think, hmmm costs only 10000$ to repair.

This will cost a lot, but not that much!

Yes, the bodyparts are carbon fibre and must be replaced, but only the front is damaged. The car is mid-engined, so the drivetrain is probably unharmed. Radiators and fans are cheep compared to the rest of that car. The big question is as mentioned if the chassis survived...

Sad story :(

High3nd 02-09-2004 03:22 PM

Don't post that stuff, i dont wanna see this. Its like looking at a dead person.

PANASSIS 02-11-2004 08:00 AM
