Don't be to happy dude.. I don't remember exactly this battle but I fear the Corvette won't place very well (it's always liek that usually for US or Euro cars in their battles ;))

With those challengers, I can't believe that they would put a regular C5 with the Z51 suspension out there. With that 360 racing with 400 bhp, they could have at least gone with a Z06 to represent the US, thats disappointing.

Man the GT-R with only 276HP gave the 911 a very good run.

it would still have gotten killed, the GT-R is only 280 hp , and it killed the Vette

although the GTR is rated at 276 fly wheel horsepower, due to the gentleman's agreement in japan, i believe the car is actually producing more power than that.

for example, the Evo VII was rated at 276, when it was pushing closer to 310hp.

this video is just like the battle that put the nsx vs. the new lambo, it was so ridiculous, the lambo was being short shifted and the nsx was getting the crap beat out of it. BM will never let an american car win its battles.

but don't get me wrong BM is the only show that has the balls to do something like this and its awesome. I just don't put much faith in the results

whats up with the starting grid? they said that they orderd the cars by base price..i'm prettys sure a turbo isnt more expensive than a 360..and what were they talking about the porsche's gears being crossed above 3rd gear?

276HP is the limit set by Japanese Road Transport Department for all cars even though the cars can reach up to 1000HP

Well- it depends when this test was taken because they don't have that hp limit in Japan anymore. They've changed it in exchange for stricter emissions regulations.

Wow, the 911TT was super fast in the straight. Yeah, all the Skyline needs is a aftermarket muffler and intake, next thing you know it'll easily have 400hp :lol: .

Biggest Surprise was the Evo VII, how it hung with the best, and the Modena and Z06, how it didn't hung w/ the best.
