I voted F1. It may not be the best performer or most exotic looking, but it's the one that I'd want in my garage, old or not. I've only seen one, and am still amazed by the size.

If I had to pick an order:
1- F1
2- Zonda F
3- Enzo
4- CGT
5- Veyron
6- Koenigsegg

I voted Veyron. I really admire the engineering involved to make such a car not just be fast but easy to drive as well. I'm kind of disappointed though I would've liked to seen the Reventon thrown in the mix.

hahahaha

naw

Read a fair bit of the article.. nothing new really stated.. more like somebody who read 6 articles, and made that one lol.

I picked the Veyron... but maybe I should've chosen the Enzo... the Enzo is the most exotic style to it, maddest noise.... but there is something to be said of being able to drive that kind of car any and all the time...

macca F1 fanboys will all choose it's ugly arse :P I can't do anything about it hehe

Oh you mean that kit car Lambo?

RC45 03-15-2008 01:31 AM

I had to vote CGT - in the right hands, its the most capable car of all the whole bunch....

You cant say this does not perfectly illustrate how the CGT is one of, if not the greatest sports cars of all time ;)

http://www.motorworld.net/videovault...ls.php?id=1615

BTW - that car was driven to and from the race track - 130 mile roundtrip every couple of weeks for almost a year :)

enzoferrari 03-15-2008 01:49 AM

Enzo
Zonda F
CGT
CCX
and the extra large VW bettle.

r2r 03-15-2008 02:39 AM

Unlike other Ferraris, Enzo seems to deliver everything I want to see in a Ferrari.

CGT comes close second.

and then the rest...

Maca F1
Zonda
Veyron
CCX

yg60m 03-15-2008 03:11 AM

What a comparison test !! I will take some time to decide which is the ultimate for me but I strongly think to the F1 ..

torrentjunkie 03-15-2008 08:41 AM

wish they had a video on it:-P

For me:
Zonda F
Enzo
F-1
Veyron
Carrera GT
CCX

just based on looks, because aren't supercars first and foremost, just a tiny bit more than the engineering stuff, supposed to look like nothing else, so much that anyone, from kids to even senile old people could tell it's something special? and anyway the Zonda F sounds like a formula 1 car, (sucks it has the least votes:crying:)

martin100 03-15-2008 01:09 PM

Voted for the Veyron because it has pushed the envelope even further...

blue8 03-16-2008 03:27 AM

I'm surprised a lot of people are voting the Veyron... I just don't like the car really. It looks massive and ugly, for me at least. I prefer Ferraris generally but my favorite would have to be the Carrera GT. But the Enzo and Zonda F are truly very desirable as well

leblanc2.0 03-16-2008 02:06 PM

Pagani Zonda F:thumbup:

pagani 03-16-2008 03:29 PM

Mclaren f1 as allways

04RCSTI 03-16-2008 06:34 PM

Zonda F wins for me

philip 03-16-2008 07:19 PM

Old article by a Ferrari expert Michael Sheehan on the Enzo vs F1

http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages...=SCM_200408_SS

A recent test by one of the car magazines had the Bugatti beaten by a tuner Viper to 200 mph.

I'll gather a bunch of tifose, we'll come over your place, puncture all the tires on your Zonda, paint it pink and exchange Pagani badges with Daihatsu ones!!!! Magnifico! Brillantemente! Quello vi insegnerą una lezione! La Scuderia Ferrari di la Viva!

hahaha, I'm a diehard Ferrari fan at heart. I just have a really big soft spot for the Zonda.

And if I ever have Zonda at my house, dont you worry it will be parked behind all the Ferrari's :)

sameerrao 03-16-2008 09:49 PM

1. McLaren F1
2. Porsche Carrera GT

Don't care about or want the rest.

Thanks for the link blue8. Pretty lightweight reporting though. I wonder if they really drove the cars or regurgitated the stats.

MidEngine4Life 03-17-2008 03:07 AM

Great article about my ultimate dream car. F1 FTW!

HeilSvenska 03-17-2008 11:42 AM

This is hard, but the Enzo and the Carrera GT doesn't really bring anything new to the table. (Except Ferrari's ugly "new" F1 inspired design) I mean, we knew they could make cars like these already before they made them.

The Pagani seems more like a big handbag in this group. Good, but still over stitched and over ornamented.

F1. Sure, it was the fastest car at one point, but it failed in that no one really caught on to Gordon Murray's packaging solutions, which surely was the point of the car for him.

CCX. Is too obscure. I like it, but still, the best supercar? Maybe not.

Veyron. No compromise with that one, except in weight... and price.

I can't choose.

If it were up to me, I'd want
1 CCX
2 Veyron (in Bugatti Blue)
3 F1
4 Carrera GT (in anything but silver)
5 Zonda F
6 Enzo

But I can't say that CCX is the best super car. It probably isn't.

rave426 03-18-2008 10:53 PM

Macca F1 for sure - Its still that much more impressive than all the others

Zonda F in second tied with Veyron (only reason Veyron gets it is because of its engineering) :)

CCX in third I guess - i dont like it like crazy but its definately a SUPERCAR above others.

gobs3z 03-18-2008 11:30 PM

It's the Zonda for me and for the right reasons. The Zonda is the only supercar that is art in motion on top of its great engineering, sound and pure beauty. The Enzo, CCX, Macca are function first which takes away from them. Ferrari admitted they could have made it look better and they came up with the MC12 which still does not look that good. The Zonda is the perfect mix of function and beauty, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I find the Zonda to be pure beauty in motion. The interior unique and almost concept-car like, and then the glass roof tops it off. Supercars should not be so steered towards function, and Pagani gives that option with a Club Sport if thats what you're looking for.

What the hell was I smoking this day: Maybe i was going off the definition of a supercar (uncompromised).

Screw that: The best supercars are.

Macca F1
Zonda F
CGT

Didnt change much - :-P

pagani 04-04-2008 05:40 PM

2 porsche cgt
3 pagani zonda

Mattk 04-05-2008 02:56 AM

I pick the Enzo. The whole package is just near-perfect.
