The lastest creation of roush performance i think they have cracked it they have taken the mustang to the next level.

Those are pretty nice Mustangs. I'd still bet on the PJ Mustang though despite the 35 hp handicap.

You know what? It's not. It's 427 cu.in. It makes 435hp.

You sure about that? ;) Its 4.6l not a 7l. Its a lot more "show" than go... :P

I like Roush as well.. I like to stomp them like bugs... but its not that much fun any more - when the car was stock, it was just a sound beating I gave them, these days it is utter humiliation I dish out ;)

Roush makes better cars than shelby these days,

From day 1 I have had fun stomping Shelby, Saleen and Roush Mustangs... none of them have ever really been "eye popping" with regard to looks or performance. :)

Than again you have a 660 hp corvette that is quite a bit more powerfull. than any of those stangs.

Mustang was a pony car until Shelby put the 428 in it... and later, Ford put the 429 in it. In the modern cars of today, the Mustang is a muscle car; and there still is no other left (for another year).

It never was a sports car, with exception to the 2000 Cobra R.

Roush have worked closely with SVT for well over a decade, and have far more to do with the Shelby GT500 (S197) then many folks think.

Shelby GT500's are more muscle cars

Roush's are something in between. I'll be cheap and use the vague term, "performance car"

They all more than qualify for the terms pony car and muscle car regardless though.

That's the oversimplified impression that I don't want peple to get. The Roush isn't that good, especially when compared to Saleens. The Shelby isn't that bad either.

Saleen is waay more hardcore than Roush and are of a better quality. Atleast Saleen can make a Mustang with more than 500hp and handles like a mother...

That said the new roush stang will have 500 hp and thay have upgrades for 600 hp.
