I'm actually going to buy a xbox 360 in a few days, and halo comes out in 10 days + 12 hours.... you can bet I'll be on xbox live at that time.

I don't think I'll be disappointed!

No idea if i'll resurect my old gamer tag, or not... but I'll keep yous guys posted. I know r2r mentioned he'll be doing the same thing as me :)

Pirated Halo 3's have hit the web.... some retailer in UK was selling copies a week early... MS has officially announced they wont be banning accounts of people showing up online early except Bungie staff I guess...

I won't be downloading the pirated version, mine is coming in next week anyway.. I can wait...... I can .... wait :P :P

Man this game is gonna be HUGE,the online store i get all my games from,whenever i have a pre order they started packing it and despatch of it 2 days before release.its a week away from the UK release of halo 3 (well 7 days yesterday) and i got an email from the store saying due to the high demand of the game and the ammount they have to send out,they are doing the packing of the game and charging peoples cards for payment today!!!

graphically i think it is on par with gear of war,, if not better

ok.... a few hours in.... "training matchmaking" isn't that good.... too generic with too much swords, hammer things, and "juggernaught" and "oddball" type games.... where are the capture the flags for those? I haven't read a thing yet...

Solo campaign.... graphics are UNBELIEVABLE :) well, they are believable that they are a game :P but VERY good.... game play.... goofed up buttons, would make it dificult for me to currently be satisfied going through in "hard" mode... so easy for now :P

Not much in the area of cut scenes yet... but I have to call it a morning. So I cant spoil what I don't know... I guess that makes the first level HUGE :) The Brutes are 3 parts better, 1 part worse.... but when allying with the Elites, that changes things I guess...

I picked it up around 1AM and have been playing multiplayer mostly...the controls are a bit different, but I'm sure I'll eventually get used to it. Seems alright to me.

Update: Contacted Microsoft. Guess they have a box coming for me to ship out my 360. I just hope they count it as under warranty because if they dont theyre going to send it back unrepaired and then ill have to make a second request to pay 100 bucks for them to fix it and repeat the process all over again.

if they are going to charge you they should have done it when you was on the phone,thats what they did with me.if its a 3 red lights thing then it has a 3 year warranty and gets repaired for free

Oh well, Im confident now that it will be fixed for free because the damn thing wont boot up at all now. Red light crazyness

I went to Best Buy to grab a CD and decided to see if they had any copies of Halo 3. To my surprise, they had about 60 of them. So HAHA to the suckers that sat in line for the thing.
