remember the cabrio bmw, whose doors came up from the chassis? it appears in Clarkson's 100 best cars

RX-330, the IS 300, the Scion, Celica, Chevy Aveo.

Any Jeep. yes the RX lexus. SLK. The Miata can be. The TT convertible is a little girlish no the coupe though.

that's great. I know a girl who's dad manages a Cadillac/Hummer dealership and he hates the Escalade EXT(pickup, it leaks when the bed fills with water.) and the H2 he takes home a real HUMMER all the time. the real HUMMER is shorter than the H2 and has more ground clearance, It has the same turning radias also and that is one masculine truck.

I really think it canbe summarised to any car whish is underpowered and the emphasis is placed on the way it looks far more than how it "goes". So yeah most VW's are up there (apart from R32 etc) and that Pink Hummer just sounds hysterical. Pls send me a photo if you find one!!

The most girlish car of the moment, together with the Beetle is the StreetKa :D

The new Lancia Fulvia is for girls, I think in the Fulvia it will only have pretty girls in it, I sure do hope so.

I Think the BMW Z3 is girly car it's a shame James Bond drove in one!

Agree with all those except 911s. How is that a girly car, maybe a Cabrio with tiptronic, but to just lump all 911s as girly, that seems a little much. I really don't think a 911 2.7 RS is a girly car. I mean how many girls do you know drive a stripped out, rear engine, tail happy as can be, German sports car with manual box, no a/c, radio or any other creature comforts? I sure don't know any, in fact I only know about 6 or 7 girls who can actually drive a manual, much less own one.

I can see saying a few specific 911s, but come on, all of them? There are so many hardcore 911 models that completely alienate most women, to me a real 911 is one that most women (and some men I guess) would consider stupid, a waste of money or pointless because it is so much of a sports car; hard suspension, tricky to drive, not the most practical car...

You're kidding, right?! I think it's a wonderful car that hopefully will go into production. If it does, I would gladly have one without ever thinking I was in a girly car. IMO it's elegant, but absolutely not girly.

ALL SUVs are girly. women drive big cars for fear of collision. cant blame em, the weaker sex have better survival instincts and are generally more risk averse than men.

I really hate SUV drivers, they cant keep em in their own lane. otherwise, some of em can carry alotta stuff, which is a good thing.

Mini is a girly car, although many men praise it for its driving abilities. i have friend who is a girl and crazy for Mini Coopers. She also loves Honda S2000. I say convertibles and mini-roadsters- MX-5 Miata, S2000, MR2, and SLKs.
I do like Opel Speedster/ Vauxhall VX220 and the Smart Roadster, they are fun and small, but no way girly. In fact girls hate them.

i think everyone has forgotten the most girly car..IMO is the MR2. also i think the boxter is a girly car, but i sitll love it

I think S2000 is suitable for a sporty girl. Just like Devon Aoki with her S2000 in 2F2F. She looks just fine in it :wink:

I disagree with you guys on the small convertibles such as MX5 (Miata). It is true women are attracted to these cars, but that's different from girly cars. I think a man shouldn't be ashamed to drive one, as opposed to a man driving a New Beetle. Why? Because they're not just cars that were intended to appeal to a group of people by their looks and of which the manufacturer didn't bother to make it a good car in other aspects. The MX5 is a rear wheel drive convertible that drives really well. Women may like it, but it's still a seriously good car for which no man has to ashamed. I am aware though that Americans may not see it this way and dismiss every small car as being a girly car. IMO that's not right.

V6 Mustangs/Camaros!! Beatles of course, vans, honda element, (I dissagree with the Jeep Liberty BTW, I like it), Chrysler Sebring, pretty much any underpowered cheap 2-door convertible.

Ever heard of the Peugeot 206 CC. Wow, that's gay transportheaven. Voted as sexiest car by gay people. It has been pointed out in Top Gear a while ago. The Merc SL55 became second (now let that be jeremy's car!!!! :D )

Yes the 206 CC is a feminine/gay car, just like the new micra and daihatsu copen. I don't think the SL55 is a feminine/gay car, that car has real balls!
