How is your writing?

This came to my mind when i decided to read one of the texts i did last year and there were several parts where i couldn't understand what was written

Has something like this ever happened to you, or you have good caligraphy?

MIHALS 03-06-2007 07:03 PM

I completely forgot to write in written since I'm looong time away from school, but I write quite nicely in block letters

Pokiou 03-06-2007 07:05 PM

thats why there is a pharmacy cause in Uni... they spend 4 years learning to decipher a doctors hand writing lol...

TopGearNL 03-06-2007 07:08 PM

Im the only one that can read my own writing

As an artist and an English student I take great pride in what I write and how it looks. My normal writing is usually block letters, small typewriter looking letters. I only really use script or cursive for artistic value.

saadie 03-06-2007 09:27 PM

i can read my own writing ... .but it sure is crap .....

ldin 03-06-2007 10:40 PM

<<<i have to ask people to decipher what i write...

Mattk 03-06-2007 10:49 PM

I usually write in cursive and I like to think it's pretty neat. However, if I'm writing quickly, or when tired, or when hungover, or a combination of all three, it gets bad.

Z3uS 03-06-2007 11:07 PM

So i'm not alone

Mattk 03-08-2007 05:49 AM

^Haha!

TopGearNL 03-08-2007 06:10 AM

LOL Mrmojo77 :P

Girls do have nice writing, most of the times that is..

Mattk 03-08-2007 06:11 AM

^I hate it when girls put small circles in place of dots, full-stops, decimal points etc.

TopGearNL 03-08-2007 06:29 AM

^^ LOL! So typical for girls, don't hate it but I can find it annoying too.

Mattk 03-08-2007 06:39 AM

^It's wrong! That's not writing.

Erez 03-08-2007 12:01 PM

mine was so bad that till the 9th grade or so, I couldn't read my own hand writing a min after i wrote it!
its not so good now.. but understandable!

(funny thing, there was a time in the 11th grade, that we came back from the summer vacation, 2 months off, and i completely forgot how to write.. we were supposed to write something, and i was holding the pencil for like 10 mins didn't know what to do with it! nothing came out! to you family guy viewers, just like the time peter said he forgot how to sit down.. i had the same thing (writing, not sitting down..  ) happen again a few months back, with math.. i forgot how to write divide  so i looked in the book, and there its printed not like this : but with the line between the dots, so for a couple of days i wrote it like that..  )

gucom 03-08-2007 01:32 PM

hahaha in a word: fugly... used to be even fuglier tho...

i like girls' writing, it's so readable compared to most guys' :P

Stoopie 03-08-2007 01:35 PM

^ +1!

My writing is always perfect when I start a new page, but at the second line I'm getting lazy again and fall into my usual sloppy writing :P

Z3uS 03-08-2007 02:20 PM

I'm providing a scan with a sample of my incredible writing abilities.

It's not so bad, actually.

TopGearNL 03-08-2007 02:31 PM

^^

My writing is a piece of art compared to that I guess

novass 03-08-2007 02:58 PM

 Whoa!

Mattk 03-08-2007 08:51 PM

^What has writing in cursive got to do with knowing how to write? Makes me glad I didn't opt to take the SATs.

silentm 03-12-2007 12:41 PM

i always wonder why people can't read my handwriting??? it's really easy! i mean i can do it ... :o

Mattk 03-12-2007 07:56 PM

^Yeah, that's right, writing in cursive is the opposite to printing out each letter one by one. I find it faster and I just do it quite naturally.

TopGearNL 03-12-2007 08:04 PM

^^ Me too, I always write much stuff and don't think I could have finished my essays without that

Mattk 03-12-2007 08:14 PM

Sometimes when I adjudicate debates I end up descending into a barely legible scrawl, usually due to the aftershocks of the night before.
