Ok guys this is the deal.

I don't want to hear any buts or I can't.. Leave it!

We are going to set a date on which we have to beat the most members online record, which was 93 members in 2006 and currently 33 on Sun Feb 18.

Now come on for sure we can do better then that! Lets thrash the 2006 record :D

a Sunday evening near a TG release is usually a good time ;)

also... a sticky with updates to remind us when would help too

for example: (Most members online in 5 hours:17:00 gmt) or whatever and update it throughout the day (in 20 minutes! at 17:00 gmt) and such ;)

and make sure people know to refresh thier browser at that time period once every 2-3 minutes even for 10 minutes

We tried this some time ago and failed miserably. Therefore we must try again!

When I pm'ed TGNL, Karma had already reset the clock, so to speak :) I think its right now benched @ 34 users online...

What time on Sunday? GMT?

LOL...after nearly 4 years, 38,000 members and almost 1 million messages we have had an almighty 34 people all on at once.

Yeh you need to organise a record quickly as JW will be the laughing stock of the internet otherwise :mrgreen:

I did kinda give up on the stats a while back, after we got the spammers corner and also the forums being readable to non registered members. All is good though IMO.

not to piss on your cornflakes, but the only reason its been 93 for ages is because it was artificially increased to that, and since then there have never been enough users online at once to increase it...

I think Im gonna make a list then, about 100 persons who will be online (if they say so), will take some time but ok.

We will have to choose a very good time, After TG episode still be the best I think, Ive been looking at it sunday evening and it seems that half of them were regular members, the others were just here for the vid I guess..

So its a question of getting many regular members online!
