What does everyone think will be the next factory modded supercar upgrade? I mean, what car do you think will get the best supertuner aftermarket upgrade to either performance or styling?

Possible future examples:

Ruf Carrera GT-R Turbo?
Koenig Twin Turbo Enzo at 900bhp?
Gemballa 1200bhp Carrera GT QuadTurbo?
Saleen GT40 with over 300 air vents and ducts?
Rinspeed CC8S-R at 420+kph Top Speed?

Wow, a twin turbo Enzo is so unnecessary but it would be totally awesome.

That is the exact definition of supertuning. There are so many companies out there and just enough insanely wealthy people that someone will make something crazy enough for someone even crazier to have the thrills of a lifetime (in a car of course :wink: ).

Carrara GT.. Adding turbo to that and you got a rocketship..

Gemball rock...I'd pick the Carrera GT.

adding 2 turbos.... well jsut 1 would be insane!

I think it will be a CGT as there are a lot of Porsche tuners. Koenig will maybe release a turbo Enzo but it must be an order from a client . Of course there was someone enough mad to ask two turbo on his F50 but now on an Enzo ... i am not sure.
For the CGT, i think we will see some mods on design and engine.
However, i should note that the last super Porsche, the 959, was not really tuned except by the factory (more power) and a guy who bought an accidented one and transformed it on convertible.

a modded GT. not only are the 5.4 engines extremely easy to mod, but they make gobs of power.

How about a turbo McLaren F1 GTR with Nitrous? :D

no supercar needs nitros smicah. remember nitrous ruins the engine(pistons, cylinders etc) noone in their right mind would put a 5k nitro kit on a super car with an engine worth upwards of 100k (unless they are a ricer.....that is :o )

I think the Ford GT would be the best candidate for more power, because it already has a s/c and not much is involved in increasing horsepower, especially considering the tuning available for the Cobra. The coolest would be a bi-turbo CGT though, that would just be incredible, a fine show of automotive excess! :)

I agree the GT would be the easiest because it is probably the least complex engine out of all the supercars, hell its out of a pick-up truck.(not the cobra) And I think that Roush could do some justice to the car.

I know but, wouldn't that be all out fun? I think this guy with the Diablo from the 2003 Gumball Rally might agree...

Y'all are forgetting the Koenigseggs CC also uses the Cobra SVT engine - Wonder how many CC owners will be sending for their JC Whitney catalogue to soup up the old Blue Oval mill... ;)

As a natural fan of Koenigsegg, i must be interested deathly.
Rinspeed eh? It is kind of scary that it's the same Rinspeed which made a Porsche 911 Turbo pick-up and a shrinkable 4seat to 2seat convertible to show off its ability.

Anyways can't wait to tell my Swiss friend and Scandanavian friend about this!!!

None...anything with nitrous kit doesn't deserve the name supercar anywhere...whatever it is.
