Not bad. Funny how Autobild/Huckfeldt pic from 5 years ago looked exactly same as the production car. :D
All new Benzes look pretty in white. Me like... But don't care for S-Class grill. |
I can't say it's bad, cause it ain't. However, it's now way too americanized and after all it's just a merc at the end of the day.
Who was it that said "Life is too short to drive a Mercedes" ! ;) |
Yes, i said it before, the Autobild photoshops are mostly very close to the final product. Doesn´t look bad actually. But the front definitely looks better than the back :| The AMG Package makes the car look a lot better!
|
Looks awesome. The steeringwheel is the only thing I don't like.
Americanized? My ass! |
its nice, and beautiful. the front grill and the headlights make it
looks more sportier and aggressive... for sure better from the last model ! |
Its looks very nice, sleek lines! :D
I would only like the Mercedes Star to be on the bonnet instead of in the grill. |
I like the new CL style of Mercedes :) But damn that steeringwheel looks ugly!!

Its just a lower end Merc. Nothing special about the looks or anything else.
Maybe the C63 AMG will be a cool car. |
I like it. . . the interior looks nice. And it is good to see a Pop-up LCD instead of the intergrated into the dash forms.
I also like MB's information panel in the gauge instead of of the ubiquitous Audi style which BMW, Lexus, and company uses. |
Looks quite nice but very Mercedes.
|
it looks big and long, damn these day cars grow so quickly
|
I love the front with AMG package, the inerior is so so and the steeringwheel is very ugly.
|
looks like a cheap car for me...i dont like it..and looks way too much like the CL, which im not abig fan.
|
The interior looks quite cool for a Mercedes ( except the wood of course :P ).
But the exterior isn't that good. The rear is a bit ugly :? |
Better-looking than the previous one, which is not really such a difficult thing to accomplish. Still, I don't think it looks good. Not bad, but it's not good.
|
i just hope they keep the G wagon as it is... my fav merc.. i would hate to see it luk similar to the new mercedes....

Please read what thepest wrote. |
I still don't like it.
I agree it's better than the last one, but I'm still not a fan. The interior's... well, it looks pretty much like the last model, except for the digital-style dials and that weird-ass steering wheel. Although I hope the new CLK will look good. |

Jokes aside you may love or hate the interior but if you think it looks like the old W203 C-series I suggest you look closer. |
Quote:
The 1-series was my now-ex-wife's choice. Not mine. I wanted to get the Mini Cooper S, and if it wasn't for the 6 month waiting list, that would've been the car we bought. Before we parted ways, I had already convinced her to sell the 1-er for the new (at the time) 3-door Fiat Grande Punto, which was / is a far better looking car, or the new Renault Clio. She still has the 1-series. Act of defiance? Or plain bad taste? You be the judge. Also, the old W203 was my ex-wife's mom's car. I used it often, I know what I'm talking about. I'm not saying the new 3-series is a stretch from the last one either... but I was expecting something with a bit less wood from MB, especially with their new "forward-looking" exteriors, and the futuristic-ish S-class. |

|
It's really grown on the outside which doesn't change the fact that it is monotone and boring. Just a complete lack of imagination.
|
The general shape didn't changed much... it's boring!
The interior is quite interesting 8) The indicators on the side mirrors are horrible :x |
Looks ok, not beautiful but allright. Only that steering wheel :puke:
|

In fact - it looks like a Lexus. :| What's with the whole slew of buttons too? And does it have an MP3 jack? |

Planning on buying one without telling us  |

The annoying thing is that when I used to follow a lot of car design forums, wherein some of the members were actually employees of the bigger companies, they all whined about the same thing: corporate politics decide what designs will be used in the end. Hence near-perpetual repetition of interior designs and materials. Jag's new interior is pure concept - pure designer. I pray that at least some of it, even just the dash, is retained. Volvo's inclination to change their stodgy brand image brought us that "floating" dash of theirs. I hope more and more companies follow suit. It's 2007, not 1987. Wood interiors have been around since... 1937?! Git wid d tyms olredi. |

just little disappointed that the new C63 has only 450hp, since the other models have ~500hp from the same engine. |

The interior looks about as appealing as a hospital bed.
|
The steering wheel would fit a UNIMOG better!
The overall body shape is boring! The details on the outside are just OK! Disappointing newcomer from Merc! |
I'd buy one though I'm really concerned about quality issues. I dont want to spend my time going to the damn service station all the time.
|
Looks very good, much better than the last one.
|
i hope the new season of top gear tests this car.

From World Car Fans:
SPY PHOTOS: All New Mercedes C Sportcoupe http://www.germancarfans.com/spyphot...214.002.1L.jpg Back from the dead Mercedes is going full throttle on replacing aging models by their respective successors, and here is proof this goes for the C Sportcoupe as well. The pictures were taken in northern Sweden and they show the new car for the first time ever. Although the new C Sportcoupe will mimic the design of the brand-new C-Class saloon, the coming coupe is actually built around the mechanics of the current model – and hence based on the chassis of the outgoing C-Class. The basic concept of the car – short coupe with huge tailgate – will remain unchanged, too. Like with the outgoing model, buyers will have the option between the four-cylinder C180 (156 bhp, compressor) or C200 (184 bhp, compressor) and the six-cylinder C230 (204 bhp) or C350 (272 bhp). New on offer might be the C280 V6 delivering 231 bhp. Diesel enthusiasts might prefer the C200 CDI (136 bhp) or C220 CDI (170 bhp). More spyshots (for your viewing pleasure):http://www.worldcarfans.com/rsslink....s-c-sportcoupe Why honestly must they continue building this hideous car? :? |
