Employee crashes Spyker showmodel

Quote:

An employee from the Antwerp garage Beerens couldn't have done any worse. The poor man didn't have a car accident in his entire life.

But just when he had to drive a brand new dutch Spyker, worth €271.000, to a big carshow in Brussels, the car slipped on its side in a small river and the car got heavily damaged.
"I probably pulled the wheel a bit too much", said a poor Gert Beerts saturday in The Latest News.

The car should've been the crown on the Brussels carshow, that starts saturday. There are only 3 of the model driving around in Belgium. Car producer Spyker from Zeewolde immediately sent an alternative car, that has been displayed at the very last moment for the aprox. 320.000 visitors for the Autosalon of Brussels.
Hmm waiting for pictures.

Don't think so, why would he say himself that he pulled the wheel 'a bit too much' then? Weird statement then, wouldn't it be?

It wasn't

the owner of the garage was interviewed on the news, and he said that all 550 cars of his company were fully insured (omnium) , except for this one Spyker ... he thought it wasn't necessary

Well yes, but I think it would be weird to state this then. He's now clearly implying that he made the mistake because of his steering, not because of him having to pull the wheel because of someone else.

Thats true but if he said that it could be, maybe he's an activist who doesn't like supercars :bah:

You can follow what's happening with this Spyker on www.spyker.be (click on Spyker Repairs)

Stoopie 01-21-2007 04:35 PM

What the fuck, that text on that site is actually a copy of mine! I translated that text into English from a Dutch site, why did they copy my translation?

*edit: email sent to spyker.be, let's see where this leads
