Audi R8
 

I'm not a big fan of Audi but the R8 is definetely cool.

It's a squeezed Audi , mostly like a TT, with some elements of a Gallardo
but since I saw it yesterday at the Zürichcarshow (photoshooting will follow), I find the car very nice,

i am just going to say cool b/c i know its going to be a good car with some nice power and handling but no soul and its ugly IMO looks to I-robot for me.

It looks pretty cool and aggressive ( but not as cool as the concept ). The engine is in the right place ( and what an engine :o ) wich makes it cooler than a normal Carrera S. And sounds better than a Posche too. 8)

until i see some reviews and tests i´m going to stay with cool

i truly and utterly hate it.

I think it looks quite good. It's not stunning, but it's still a solid cool. I haven't seen one in the metal, so I really can't go on much more than pictures.

Gosh, this one was really hard. Like most said, it is definitely not a pretty car to look at especially the front end. Something about those headlights are too. . . hmm, squinting at you or something. All the other Audi cars (with the exception of the Q7) looks great!

Also, there is no denying the Le Man's R8s capabilities and for this car to be "derived" from that one means something to me. But why didn't they just put out the V10 in this one? It almost seem like the V8 was marketing purpose because they wanted to save room and space to market the V10 and charge more. They should've just made this car a V10 and charge accordingly for it.

Yeah, for those reasons, doesn't look great and lacking performance, I had to go with "Uncool".

I guess we will just have to wait for the RS8 w/ the V10 to see if this car would be "Cool". . .

It's cool. Despite me liking Audi very much i didn't dig this design.

Its a nice car but come on its a lambo underneath, why didn't the make a cheaper V8 Lambo, thats still cooler than a fast Audi.

Before car show in Istanbul I thought r8 was cool but after seeing it with my eyes I think this car is SZ.

Ive seen one, and believe me, its shocking seeing it in real life, its simply beautiful, I think it looks better than a Gallardo....

One of those cars which is better when seen in person. Interior is very cozy, exterior could use a little work. Power is not that bad. Cool for me.

Sub Zero. Like nothing else on the road. It wreaks of beauty and apparently is a good drive to boot.

Just cool IMO, I admire that it drives well in most situations and looks ok, but it just doesn't excite me the way say a zonda does.

this car is very exciting... seriously cool... but not yet SZ ... let's wait for the upgraded version :D

Can it be sub-zero? I'll wait until the twin turbo V10 version comes out. :P

I saw one a few days ago, low, sleek and does LEDs jsut show that it's up to no good. Cool.

I thought that had already answered this poll before. The R8 is definitively “Subzero”, I like this futuristic car since the launch of the LeMans quattro concept. :wink:

I dont think its a pretty car but it is true to the look of an audi so at least its not trying to be something else which i think is cool. gotta agree with top gear on the LEDs though. overall a cool car i expect the supped up version to be SZ.

There's no "supped up" version yet. That'll probably get its own poll. Oh and technically, it set the look of all new Audis, rather than the other way around. ;-)

I've sat in 3 R8's & I definetely think Sub Zero.

Cheap next to LP560-4, you mean. The old Gallardo didn't look that expensive.
