:P sure sure come Dani
how did I know that you gonna reply first on this topic? :D |
Congrats mate!! That engine should be quite bullet proof, unless u done something stupid, u shouldn't need to put much money into it.
|
Congrats on your sweet E30 ;)
the 1.8 is a pretty decent engine.. A good friend of mine had a 1984 TC Baur 318i with only 60k on the clock.. but it wasnt really kept in good condition while it sat in a lot outside for a few years. The convertible top pretty much got destroyed and the engine needed a full tune up.. sadly he didnt have enough money to fix it up and sold it to a BMW collector for a steal. All in all it's a great car to have some fun in. I hope to pick one of these up in a few years. |
Congrats on the Beemer Arman! :D
We all know how you talked about getting one and here it is! I hope that it will give you no problems and only joy and pleasure for many many miles! |

Welcome back Arman. I don't know if you know that I lost my E30 a few months back:
http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=41958 So seeing yours definitely makes it nostalgic. Your car definitely looks very nice. Actually, in the US a 318i/318iS is more preferable than the 325i that I got. I was actually looking for a good example until I came across the 325i, which ended being too good to past up. I think the biggest thing with those cars are the Timing Chain. So make sure you have that replace or check to see if it has been replaced. And of course, as with all BMWs make sure you pay close attention to the thermostat, the water pump, and the radiator. I heard a lot of E30 M3 parts fit for that car :D . Keep us updated! Congralutions on the purchase!!! P.s. Alpine White is an awesome color! :) (Okay, I am a bit bias too.) |
Congrats Arman, thats a sweet ride you have there! Im not too knowledgable on BMW's so I cant offer any valuable advice. But I can say that it looks fab and I love it in white! Interior looks nice and classy and im sure you will enjoy been a BMW driver. :D
|
great looking 318 arman :D Nice to see you back as well :D
good luck with it :D |
Finally  My congratulations fella! What mods will be first ? :D
Hope i'll get one next season too |
congratulation arman, its from E30 forum ?
|
Thanx for comments guys :)
@ae86_16v - 318iS are on same level as 325 here too, i prefered the 325 thou cause of V6 engine note :P Thanx for advice ;) @Igorionia - no mods yet only needed checks and fixes for the lady :) and for the future - bixenons, anatomic M-tech seats(or black/red leather depends on money), nice decent double exhaust :) @bmwmpower - yes and it took alot of time to find the one I was looking for - beautiful and in good condition :P but as you can see its possible(well I hope its ok) Man... its absolutely fascinating to wake up in the morning as a beemer owner LOL :P  theres nothing like it... except waking up as Ferrari, Lambo or Porsche owner   hehe |
shitttt thats a beemer :P
congrats arman :) good to see everyhting is goign well :) take good care of your new baby ... you need to get married? LOL  |
Great! So you finally did it! The E30 is such a nice and funny car to drive! You'll love it and will cover many km with it!
|
And you didn't tell me anything? :x
You bugger!!! but I'm really really happy for you that you have what you were dreaming about (atleast E30 :D ). now it's time to act like most of Czech BMW owners - buy an ///M badge on her  :fuck:  Hope you'll have a LOT of fun with her, especially these days when the white stuff is falling down - let's get the fun started on the snow!!! :D :D :D can't wait when you'll give me a ride  Take a very good care obout her and treat her as best as you can!!! |
Hey lost friend :) How can I let you know if you are never online? :( You need to come now to make some decent pics/vids :P
Damn I am glad its 1.8 not 2.5 the ass is kicking on the side on wet aphalt already  thats my first time experience with RWD  everyone was telling me that I'll crash my first beemer it in the winter but I make them be wrong! |
well you saw what happened yesterday in Prague? 23 cars crashed on the ice covered road :( .... so be carefull!!!
I'll gladly come over when I have some free time  |
Maybe you should've got the extremely rare 325iX. :D
|

Mihals - didnt knew that  Gladly I wasnt there with summer tires :) |
your buddy has a nice T-Shitr
|
/\/\ LOL at the above comments
Mihals Halloween is over! :P |
Hi Arman, nice to hear form you again. And congrats on you latest purchase. In Belgium white is quite a rare colour, but I think it looks nice on your car. 8)
I don't know for sure in the E30 range, but in the E36 the 1.8 is actually to be prefered over the 2.0 because the engine is a lot lighter and therefore the car handles better. But I admit that I'm looking for a 2.5 (not a V engine though) to be my next car also. BTW, I've covered 270k kms wth mine and I'm sure it'll go over 300k without problem, so no need to worry about BM's reliability. If this is your first RWD car, I advise you to go out and play on a big parking lot before pushing your car ino a wet corner on the open road. |
Yep, I'd love to practice cant find the empty parking lot thou the one I had right by my house was closed cause too many people was practicing there too much  I need some f@ked up tires too to do so cause my heart will bleed to practice with good tires on tarmak  but no, I should do it anyways or it can be too late then your right
|
Love the avatar!
|
|
You sad you will drive your first e30 like granny do! :D If i'm not mistaken :P
|
congratz on the car man, but somehow i feel u got robbed....you should have told them that the sentimental value on the Lada is at least 6k and went for the M3 E30
|
Nice car. I'm sure it's a better drive than the Lada.
|
Thanx guys :P its too weak for drifts only on snow probably... cant wait

The 16s for me 8)
I envy you so much :) |

dont like AZEV's really but they do fit e30 and they are 16"s, also very good choice are Borbet T but they are a bit more expensive, imho one of the nicest for e30(non M3). |
Go for it, they're all better then the standard ones
|
Congrats from a fellow Beemer owner, ARMAN!!! :D
Quite a difference with the Lada, I suppose? You can have a lot of fun with an E30 in snowy conditions. Is it already snowing in Prague or do you have to wait a while for some serious drifting? |
Thanx Stradale ;) No snow yet :bah: cannot wait for it really! :P
Yep is a "bit" different that having a Lada  and I love it   |
I thing you have a serious issue with editting the copyrighted pics my friend http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ul_2-thumb.gif
 nice work on those whels Alex! those last ones are the BEST    |

@Max Power - however good the Lada was, and it was in better condition, the lack of power litterally pissed me off everytime I was driving it. Cant say when the lack of power will start to piss me off in this car  BMW owners predicted that it will be very soon 8) |
Arman, at last you got your hands on a E30!! :D
of course it's the first one, so keep saving each coin you find. it's an excellent topic to read in my comeback after a while 8) |
I am so happy for you, Arman! I'm not sure if you remember but the E30 is also a dream for me. 8)
|
