Ferraris in the Alps - 430, Novitec430, F40, Enzo, 360,...

Event: vanDeyk Ferrari Meeting :arrow: Photoshooting 6 ENZOS in St.Moritz/Engadin
Location: Berninapass/Switzerland
there is this famous railway going from the Italian border in Tirano (~429M.üM) over the Berninapass (~2253M.ü.M.) until St.Moritz, giving some spectacular views on the alps, the glaciers,..... the railway was built around 1900, some amazing viaducts and 360° tunnels in the mountain were built 8) , will soon be part of the UNESCO world heritage
(yes, I get paid by the tourism office :mrgreen: :wink: )

along this road, there is a "famous" crossing, where all cars have to slow down because of the bump by the railway-curve ...

My favourite pic is the first pic of the yellow F430. Too bad there is guy in kneeling in the pic of the 330 or it would also be a winner.

Just one thing, quite a few of the pics seem a bit noisy - did you have the ISO set too high by mistake?

This guy was supposed to help the F's to cross the bump and another one stopped the traffic.... but the cool thing was, that he told every F'driver to stop in the middle and I took pictures :mrgreen:


yes, you could hear them for a while driving down the pass 8)



ISO was set to 200 ( 100 would have been better I know), it was rainy in the morning but suddenly the sun came out and it was difficult to take the pics against the sun. Had to "adjust" the pic in PS and they got noisy :bah:

Very nice setting of course (I drove along that road many times). Too bad in the pics with the snowy mountain and glacier at the back there is always some loony managing to ruin the result a bit :bah: impossible to do something about it.

But as dingo pointed out, a bit of a pity many pics are really too noisy, especially when panning. It's a common problem with "cheap" cameras I guess. I had the same prob with my Pro 1 and dingo with his previous camera.

even with low ISO setting as soon as you move the camera picture quality drops quite a lot

Ever considered a reflex? Afterall, in a year you take quite a lot of car pics
