the other day i went to my local bmw dealer to service my 645ci and walking through the showroom, there she was. a brand new white m6 waiting for a new owner. knowning that these things are so hard to come by right now w/o being on any kind of waiting, it was an opportunity i couldnt pass up. on hell of an impulse buy huh?

nice car :D but erm... do you have any custom pics of it? meaning, of the car with for instance the keys or the manual on the bonnet or something? we've had some bad experiences with people claiming to have cars they really didnt have, so nowadays we require such a custom shot if some1 claims a car is theirs (even if its a lada :P )

some people may think it is overpriced, but when i didnt even have my checkbook with me to buy the car and brought it home the same day, i dont think its over priced. but i do agree you could get something else like a 997tt amongst other things for that kind of money

the engine is awsome,,, get a aftermarket exhaus,t and that car totall screams

here in canada, m5 and m6 is almost excalty the same price.. sure the msrp is cheaper in m5, but u gotta dd option,, with all the added option , u can get a m6, and m6 basicly there are no option to add

We know you can well afford the car and to you "its not overpriced cause you paid cash" - hopefully you didn't mean to highlight this fact again - it just comes across a little crass if you keep harping on the fact.

i dont have a racing license, but i feel like i'm capable of seeing what a car like that can do. i'm actually attending a driver school for m5/m6's tomorrow at road atlanta. which is a complete 12 turn road course

I aint ever seen a M6 in white. It looks fantastic I've got to say. I saw an black M6 about 3 weeks ago on the motorway and the presents it had was immense, it just stood out even though it was only going about 80mph. Congratdulations on your great impulse buying skills. :D

Nice purchase! The M5 is so ugly in my opinion, waste of such a nice engine. The M6 on the other hand is pretty damn good looking and especially in white.

I'd go for the third wheel with flat black (read: not shiny) spokes and a polished rim. For extra hawtness, find a similar wheel with same color combo but with a bigger dish.

i know, my s55w/ k2 has disciplined me when it comes to driving fast. no accidents or nothing like that, thank you lord. however, i do respect these machines and what they can do

S55? Seems you are into cruising and posing more than hardcore driving.

naw, i needed something big and fast, plus be able to haul the family in. so the s55 was a good fit for me, but dont sleep on it. i have taken it to the track(drag strip & road course)

jenk12m I think you have to expect these type of responses, everyone is a little curious when a 24yo can afford such an expensive car......rich dad always comes to mind unfortunately. ;)

BTW, you couldn't get a 997TT for M6-type money.
