Why spend 200,000k for that? Why not just get a Z06 for 70k? But I guess it looks kind of cool.

Then buy some long tubes, intake, cam, exhaust, a carbon fibre hood (since it has a hint of a front bias), and some new rubber, and voila! Half the price, all the performance, maybe more.

Because if you already have C6 Z, why not get a mid engined C6 Z to go along with it?

That's when you get an Ultima, Mosler, or a Factory Five GTM. :wink:

Well until the car even exists outside of a drawing, how about we hold off on the bickering considering for all either of us knows, it could be nothing more than a poorly built hunk of car. And no, price does not determine quality.

No one yet, which is why I don't want to inadvertently start something and end up dragging down the thread over something as silly as a sketch of a car that doesn't have any real details outside of an engine.

Maybe future models of this thing will be to the Vette what the S7 is to the Mustang! That would be cool!

I'm seeing Enzo, S7, Carrera GT, Koenigsegg , Lotus Exige, Toyota Alessandro Volta + Honda NSX in the front end, and some K1 Attack in the interior. Altogether it looks halfway decent though, and not like a mishmash of overly fussy design details. The car looks like a car, not a kit car is I guess what I'm trying to say. With a breathed-on Z06 powertrain, it ought to go like stink too. I'll be interested to see if it actually makes production.

If those are official pics, Ferrari guys must be scrambling for lawyers by now :mrgreen:

Although, some car makers should look more at the positioning of the gearlever ala Carrera GT...

I think we may have been a bit preemptive with the comments about the front end. Apparently it's not flush but has an integrated wing, a la Yamaha OX99-11. I think it's going to be a pretty unique-looking vehicle, and it is indeed the brainchild of Arash Farboud.

I´m not diggin the roof scoop...way to tall. Indeed it will be a unique looking car, but it still looks like a mix of bunch of supercars in the first pics. In the last pic posted it strays away from the other cars mentioned and has a look of it´s own...

Oh please. For $170,000 200mph and sub 4sec 0-60 time should be standard. It must be something incredibly astonishing or forget it. Remember Laraki? New prototype every year?

Glad to see the C6 Z06 engine already being put to good use.. but they should go back to the drawing boards to restyle the damn thing..

Although, that engine in the middle of any car, would make me a very very happy driver.

Another day another supercar, nothing that special (compared to the others any way) Don't get me wrong I love having all these supercars coming out but how many of these companies are gonna be round for the long haul. With the eceptions of Koineggseg and Pagani I can't see many of these new companies haning round for as long as Lambo and Ferrari have, I just wonder how much money they can turnover to justify the money put into all the research
