Still wouldn't buy it, one ugly car, no charism...
The mulitpla is ugly, but has got character, this is just ugly in a whole different lead... |
^
I disagree. Anyway.. nice face-lift there and with that gorgeous diesel engine it's just perfect! |
no big changes, though im not an X3 fan, this one looks better than the past one
|
No x3 fan either, no many out there or? :)
The only picture when it looks alright, is the one with the forest, standing still. Dunno about it's off road cabilities though.. 4x4 drive and all, but from the test I've sen, not that good. |
Still looks like roller skates to me. Would take a 330xi over it anyday
|
good car but doesent really look any different
|
The 3.0 diesel twinturbo engine is just perfect, but I don't see a reason to prefer the X3 over a 535d, possibly with a Lumma Design M5 optical kit
|
^ I'm in love!!!!
btw are you italian or bulgarian? |
We'll see how good this thing is against the new RDX which from what I've seen is much nicer of a vehicle especially inside.

And the new Mazda CX-7 is almost identical to the new RDX. Almost the exact same HP, Torque, and curbweight numbers. It also will have a 4 cyl turbo. I kind of hate it when car makers all come out virtually identical cars all at the same time. |
never liked
the x3 and still. |

The Interior looks good.

Fantastic I must say :) |

Honda does have connections with GM and that’s why the Saturn VUE has the Odyssey/MDX V6 engine in it. And why the Ridgeline is basically a Chevy pickup with a Honda engine. I just find it strange that the CX-7 is THAT close to the new RDX. I mean they are virtually identical in every way. |
Is there any sort of a off road community for the X series? I tried searching for "BMW X3(5) offroad mods" and all I got was reviews. I then went to a X series forum and all everyone would seem to talk about is stereo mods, new wheels or how nice of a ride their X series is to work. :?

If there is more than 1k difference between the two cars (and since the RDX is comming out under the Acura badge and not the Honda badge you know there will be!!) I would go with the Mazda all the way. |
well the funny thing is that the RDX is NOTHING like the CRV it has an all new platform it is built off of. the new CRV will be based off of the RDX. the RDX uses SH-awd, and has the newest version of Acura Link Navigation which is widely known as the best Navigation system on the OEM market with working traffic and construction info in real time. The interior uses mainly parts from the RL and that's it the rest is all new. The RDX is going to be a much nicer vehicle than the Mazda (which I have checked out BTW and it is super bland).
And the new K23A1 is an all new engine with a proprietary Variable Turbo system. The block is a 10mm shortened version of the K24 with significant reinforcement on something like 85% of it. The block is also opened up for better cooling around the sylinders. The Head is redesigned for opitmal flow and Cooling and the Turbo with top mount intercooler is a variable size unit that hits full boost at an astonishingly low 2500rpm. engine swap anyone? I'll do a write up on it later. Oh and look for prices on the RDX to be around $32K USD slightly less than the BMW... |
just as ugly as before =/

I hate the X3. They look just as bad with the painted bumper :? BMW fucked up on the pricing too. They put it way too close to the X5, and it's just not worth it.

The extra aerokit bits make the front and the rear waaaay too busy. Doesn't look good.

That's... ugly. :|
:puke: X3 LR's upcoming Freelander (mid spec) or a Disco 3 (diesel) is far and away the best deal for this size of SUV. At least the Disco 3 seats 7, and both the new Freelander and the Disco 3 have the option of being able to go off-road. |
it looks better than the first one, but still :puke:
|
This SUV is for the american market, IT will never ever see Off-road. It will only see soccer pratices and bake sales. While if you want a real Off-Roader in america you cant go wrong with a Jeep. The Previous generation Grand Cherokee comes to mind. Mine was a beast!

I’m sure that the RDX will have a much nicer interior, NAV, Stereo, etc than the CX-7. But it will also cost 5 to 7k more!! As for performance they will be an absolute dead heat. The both have the same power, torque, and curb weight. Not to mention both cars are predicted to be terrible off road. These cars are only meant for city streets and light snow. So performance is not even an issue and these cars will certainly not give Subaru any competition at all.
Personally I would never pay that much more for interior crap, I would choose the CX-7. Then again I don’t even want that much power in a 100% ON ROAD SUV, I don’t have a boat or trailer to pull so it would be a waist. I would just buy a used CR-V with 160HP because it would be by far the best value and would work just as well on streets and in light snow as the others. |
hly shit .... it looks uglier then the suzuki potohar

I still prefer the x5, and th pricing is a bit wrong yes, but firstly I like the new exterior more - there are many cool details that you don't see at first glance. Secondly, that diedel engine, the monster in the 3.0sd is 286 HP & 580 nm! That is something!!!
