It looks exactly as I imagined it, which is gorgeous. BTW...I remember reading something about an M6CSL version, was that just a rumour or are those official BMW plans ??

It looks like a soft posh mobile...not what an M car should look like. IMO the M6 should've stayed as a coupe only.

With the roof down, there's even a lower center of gravity than the Carbon Fiber hard top version ;)

The 6er has definitely grown on me a lot since it was introduced a few years ago. As with other Bangle designs. That said, I would still much rather take the Coupe over the Convertible.

looks good, but the M5 is cheaper and better.

I want to like the 6-series so much, especially the M6, but that massive bangle-ass just kills the car for me.

For some reason, I think this is actually one of the better implementation of the Bangle Ass. . . maybe it is because it is a Coupe?

A coupe? Anyways, after looking at a few 6-series Coupes and Cabrios in person, the ass is just way too chunky for my liking, and ruins the lines of the car.

Wow, must be a lot of BMW fans in this thread. That car is totally hideous! It makes Subaru’s look good! The VW thing is no longer the worlds ugliest convertible, the M6 is! I wouldn’t want that car for any reason what so ever! Who wants a 4 seat convertible?!?!

I love the looks of the 6 series and i believe it is the best looking car out of BMWs current range,consequently the M6 is wonderful both as a coupe and as a convertible. I prefer the coupe though and a portion of the price difference with the M5 can be justified by the greater degree of exclusivity you get.

The portion of people that prefers 4-seats convertible over a roadster is more or less equal to the one that prefers sedans over two seaters. Unfortunately taking into an account the spirit of your post :hmm: I doubt you'll take it right :bah:

I have to go with Clarkson on this one. The only people that look good driving around in a convertible are girls. No one wants to look at you or me driving ANY convertible. And those 4 seaters just make it ever worse.

Probably my favorite Jeremy Clarkson quote of all time is “the only person that has ever looked good riding in the back of a convertible was Adolph Hitler!” LOL

So true, I really dislike 4 seater converts. If you can’t get a roadster then do the rest of the world a favor and don’t buy a convertible at all. That is of course unless you are a beautiful woman! ;)

A 6-series still isn't modern art, it's just a bloated barge with a fat disproportioned ass.

A Pagani Zonda, now that's modern art.

Jeremy also said for the coupe, that it just great to look at. And the cabrio is just coupe with the roof down, so its beautifull also.

I guess some of you didnt see the 6 series in person....yet. :wink:

Why does anyone care of what the funny tall guy (Jeremy Clarkson) thinks about the looks of the six series. I am not a fan of 4seater convertibles as well but there is a reason this segment of the market exists and among these the M6 holds one of the top spots in both looks and performance. Ofcourse the Pagani is something special and in a way a form of modern art but it costs around £300,000,in a way you expect that from a car in this price range and a lot more :wink:
