Finally put Carbon Ceramics on it, it could be an SE Murci.

Hmmm...not much seems to be changed. Only a front spoiler, Miura-concpet style rear lights ands a different exhaust. The interior needs some going over though :(

I'm likin' it a lot. The Murcielago has always been an attractive car, but it lacks some of the design flair that earlier Lambos have had. This restores some of the angular exoticism that it has always deserved to have. The gold intake plenum is a nice touch too.

these Murcielagos are starting to have more of an Audi look

Is it still AWD or will this be RWD.. :twisted:

Murcielago upgrades to LP640 !!


"Lamborghini has released the first pictures and details of the facelifted Murcielago. It is called "LP640", which implied its 640 horsepower output. (Remark: note that this breaks the tradition of Lamborghini, in which the number following LP indicated engine capacity) The upgraded big Lambo has a heavily redesigned V12 displacing 6.5 liters (up from 6.2). New crankshaft, cylinder heads, camshafts, intake and exhaust means the engine is almost new. Horsepower increases from 580hp to 640hp at 8000 rpm, while max torque inches up from 479 to 487 lbft at 6000 rpm. With the new V12, LP640 can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, or a reduction of 0.4 second. This is partly contributed by the addition of Ferrari-style electronic launch control.

Details are still scarce, but we know other modifications include optional ceramic brakes and a new gearbox. However, the viscous-coupling 4WD system is retained.

As seen in the photos, the LP640 gets more aggressive bumper, intakes and aero kit treatment. The side intakes are especially enlarged to cool the hotter engine. Optionally, customers can order a glass engine cover to let his guests view through the mighty 640 horsepower V12."

Still AWD...with rear bias of 70% transferable 100% to either axle. It's theoretically going to be called the "Murcielago LP640" which apparently means something about longitudinal position, 640bhp. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of over 210mph should be on the cards. It has redesigned front and rear bumpers/spoilers in the pursuit of achieving greater aerodynamic efficiency and downforce. It also has an enlarged left-hand-side air intake to feed the oil cooler. You can see it in the pictures looking almost like something off of the RGT.

Indeed...I think they're starting to look more Lamborghini-esque than the original Audi-influenced clean designs.

The Gallardo SE, despite its exterior changes amounting to some paintwork and wheels and this LP640 look to me as if they're far more outlandish than anything Audi would let hit the road.

this car rocks ...... this is the first car lambo made which looks better then the stealth 25th anaversary countach.... 8)
