Not sure if it's just a standard 997 with a RUF bodykit or whether Alois & the gang did also tweak this one :)

ooooooooo sexy in that dark silver, nice shots, i wish my phone shot that good of pictures.

dutchmasterflex 02-15-2006 01:34 PM

Best 997 I've seen yet! Beautiful!

Too bad you only had your camera phone, but damn nice pics for a phone ;)

The front looks good, but the offset of those rear wheels is really wrong for those rear arches, they stick out beyond them!
I dont like the rear wing either really. Shame i usually like RUF work.

U wander round SW7 often mate? (i think thats what i can read on the street sign)

Im often wandering round there too as i go to college at imperial and live in fulham.

vakpemil 02-15-2006 02:14 PM

Damn thats one awesome car! Great car, no words needed !

crayzayjay 02-15-2006 02:48 PM

Definitely agree about the rear wheels, they stuck out too much...

And yep, i'm usually wandering around K&C. Grew up there, went to school there, worked there, still live there now... If you ever fancy a pint ;)

I agree.

TT 02-15-2006 03:25 PM

Uhm.. doesn't seem to be a full RT12 (at least the exhaust tips aren't the same... but it's still something rare! Nice catch!

crayzayjay 02-15-2006 03:41 PM

You never know... Maybe it's supposed to be a sleeper in that case

chest3r 02-15-2006 03:50 PM

Those " Brabus wheels" look weird in that car....

There are better colors for a 911. I've seen better looking 997's but it's a rare sight anyway.

Thanks a lot!!

Garretts_turbo 02-15-2006 09:36 PM

very nice find! also, thats great quality for a cameraphone...hahaha makes my nextel i860 look like junk hahaha

5vz-fe 02-15-2006 10:12 PM

Honey, does the wheels make my ass looks big??
YES IT DOES.

This isn't a turbo right? There ususally a intake somewhere around the rear arches.....but this one doesn't :|

lorbmw69 02-15-2006 10:20 PM

the wheels look a little tacked on...but that thing is amazing! great color too

twboy1999 02-15-2006 10:23 PM

those are not brabus wheel
they are Ifrorged wheel = Iforgery = copy every popular wheel maker like HRE and Kenisis etc etc

Pehtren 02-16-2006 10:04 AM

The corners are very good chosen :P too bad that you didnt had camera with you

The car is superb :D thanks for the pics 8)

harryo2b 02-16-2006 02:05 PM

Doubt its a full RUF RT12 conversion as well. If anything it would be an engine and bumper upgrade. Car sits too high and as TT pointed out exhaust system or tips are not correct for RUF spec.

Here are my pics for comparison from when I got to hang out at the RUF facilities last Sept.

PATo355 02-16-2006 02:06 PM

It looks so hot ...

martin100 02-16-2006 02:30 PM

Yeah it surely isnīt the ultimate version (The back sais just RUF, not Rt12), but it looks awesome even with that bodykit

TT 02-16-2006 04:38 PM

Oh, forgot about those air intakes asweel!

Anyway well, not a real full RUF, but a Porsche with a RUF bodykit can still be pretty exclusive.

twboy1999 02-16-2006 04:47 PM

i thin kthey have the supercharger version as whell

the body kit looks almos the same except no intake hole

c0wb0y007 03-03-2006 02:46 PM

WHAT A CAR !!! To my mind, a RUF is probably one of the best high performance cars on the planet. It's mindblowing fast and as reliable as a wood burning stove 8)

The only thing this car needs is a lowering kit :) The orange RT12 posted by Harryo2b looks neat

Thanks for the pics

Cheers

martin100 03-03-2006 04:24 PM

Yes, RUF has always been known to be the best Porsche tuner, offering the most reliable and best balanced Porsches of them all. What a dream this new RT12 is

pagani 03-03-2006 05:59 PM

Ruf is not a tuner.
:D :o
