Cars - Pixar movie
don't know if this is repost (try to find Cars lol)...
I was at cinema and saw the teaser for The Cars from Disney. it's gorgeous and I have to have it :D . I like all these disney movies - finding nemo, ice age (ice age 2 is coming!!! :D ) etc.... here's the link with trailer http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney...t=-43&mTop=380 http://z.about.com/d/movies/1/0/D/D/8/carspubc.jpg |

Just a small correction :) I wouldn't say The Cars are from Disney, yes Disney will be the distributor, but the actual movie is completely (animation, screenplay, production, post-production, wiriting .. you name it) made by Pixar. They had an agreement to make 5 movies for Disney and The Cars is the last one. Also the Ice Age (1 & 2) has nothing to do with Disney. If you are actually looking for some Disney made computer animated or cars related movies you should definitely check out Chicken Little, Valiant and Herbie: Fully Loaded   . |
Looks grrreat :P I love all the animated movies from pixar/disney :D
|
couldn't care about disney or their involvement, but Pixar is awesome! I'm definately seeing this when it comes!
|
The graphics look excellent. Not sure about plot.
|
*BUMP*
trailer in any resolution in the first post  I just can't wait :D |
Pixar is the best aniation compnay IMO. I watched all of their movies and I like them all. This one looks good also. Can't wait to see cars and Ice Age 2.
|
I probably won't be seeing this one in the theater, but....
It's made by Pixar! Thus, even if the story sucks, it will still be worth watching for its excellent computer generated animation. When it comes to these CG movies, Pixar is way above all the rest and can turn a dull movie into something that it worth watching due to the time, technology, and excellent graphics that Pixar creates. Ice Age 2 should kick ass as well. Really enjoyed the 1st one. |
Well - Disney owns Pixar - so - it's a Disney movie.. :P Right?
Or more correctly may soon be an APple movie.. ;) -- What with Steve Jobs being the majority individual Disney shareholder after the buyout - and who knows in what creative whays Mr Jobs could screw up not only ixar but Disney as well.. ;) :P |

Its finally coming out
I saw an exclusive preview of this animation more then a year ago at the special Autoweek convention. it was presented by John Lasseter himself (he was the executive producer for Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., and the The Incredibles to name a few) ...and couldn't wait to watch it since that day :P I'm glad they are finally releasing it. |

I could have sworn it was in open discussion in December and officially anounded by about Jan 1. |

Its taking forever to release this movie though. |
that's one movie that I for sure will see in the theater, and by the extended, editors edition, behind the scenes DVD.

well in your age make sure you're sitting in the front so you can see the screen
|
Saw it last night. Excellent movie! Easily the best Pixar flick since Toy Story 2. My girlfriend (who finds racing boring) wanted to watch F1 straight after it! lol.
|
heres some tidbits on making the movie. 17 hours per frame with 3000 computers!

BTW - now I feel bad coming to complain how reflection on other cars didnt quite accuratelly show cars around... |
Shrek made me laugh more, but I liked this movie. Just came out from seeing it. I wish the race would have been 24hour rolex or American Lemans instead of Nascar. That'd make the movie 100% better.
|
cool
|
i did like how they showed the ricers in the movies, very funny.
|
^ the poster showing the ricer car with 100 lights and 7 floor wing was what made me go see it. Too bad they showed them for a little time only =(

Look out for a white racecar #84 One of my favorite scene in the movie was when Sarge was putting those nervous SUVs through the dirt and the Hummer H1 with spinners complaining that he never went off pavement. Very cleaver social commentary. ;) |

Because if the movie is 2 hours long, with 24 frames a second, do the math... 3000 computers would take years to finish the movie... |
^^HAHA this is sweet!
|
Hahaha, Luigi and Guido (the blue guy in that video) were my favourite characters in the movie. Their reaction when Michael Schumacher (as an F430) makes an appearance is priceless
|
I liked filmore. the VW Bus(george Carlin) playing the Jimi hendrix national anthem next to the army jeep.
respect the classics! :D |
Hahaha yea Carlin was pretty awesome too. The blinking yellow stop light scene was classic
|
hehe. saw this movie today... it was really really good i think....
loved luigi and the little truck thing :D and ofcourse when michael schumacher\430 appeared... good animation and funny story and characters:P a must for car enthusiasts i would say. funny to spot all the different makes 8) |
Finally, the movie is out in Zürich
and I had a great time watching it  :D stunning quality of pics, sometime the landscape was very realistic (starting the trip to California or during the cruise with Sally - when they drove thru the waterline, amazing work  ) Sally showing the tattoo under the spoiler was gorgeous, the 996Carrera in general was very real 8) . Diego and Luigi were hilarious :D One of the best animated films I've seen in the past (obvious for car enthousiasts :D ) |
I watched it and I liked it very much
P.S. If the cars drive themselves without any human help why do the cars have doors? |
LOL
since they are running with gasoline and oil, why do they have teeth ? |
Also good point
|
collection of clips
"...a real Michael schumacher FErrari ..." "Better than a Ferrari uh....no" "... the desert race..." Guido, he fix " Luigi follow only the Ferraris...." pitstop by Guido sexy 911 life is a highway making of  |
they play it only in translated version here in Czech :bah: so I have to wait for DVD
But at least I have a game on my mobile and that's cool game :D |
Such a great movie, I loved every minute of it, whatched 3 times allready....the sounds, the looks of the cars, the animation, everything is great!!!
