My first FXX !
 

Yihaa! I saw my first FXX today. Sadly it was at the Brussels motorshow, so no special background. But still, a nice car to see. I appreciate it more IRL as on pics.

The picture quality isn't at its usual level, but that's my own fault. I was to lazy to take my tripod all day with me. Hence the field of depth is a bit small and grain is noticeable.

VERY VERY nice! You say you could have done better. But it is always possible :bah: and these pics are damn fine already! Really cool to see a motorshow with so few ppl around and nice to be able to enter Ferrari's stand to take good pics :D

the pictures are fine, and pretty good concidering its at an auto show... which usually make pictures look bad anyway.... these are great!

Wuttput, excuse my ignorance, but what kind of camera do you have?

The fact the actual motorshow starts tomorrow and the fact I was the 5th 'visitor' inside and went straight for the FXX could explain for the low amount of people around the cars :P

Fantastic shots!

I love how the wheel nut has carbon fibre behind the horse. Little details like that really set this car apart from all others :D

I have a question though... in that pentagon shaped thing for the rims... there apparently is a safety device to take the pentagon shaped thing using an Allen Wrech right? I see no other reson for there being that thing other than fear of people stealing those, but how can ppl steal them if the car cant be driven/parked in normal roads?

It still looks a little strange/akward to me, but I can't deny its appeal - so brutal and aggressive. :D

The pictures are superb, nothing to complain about IMO. How did you manage to get in the day before the actual show starts?

Fantastic shots, espeically for an indoor event!! Did you have a special invitation ?? The place seems deserted which only makes it easier to take pictures :D Although I still think the car looks hideous (although you've captured it from some angles which I actually like), I respect it enormously for what it is.

j/k of course ;) The day I went was on 'special invitation' so it's relatively quiet. And I took all these pics within 15 minutes after opening, when most people still had to enter the motor show.

Lambo only presents the Gallardo and Gallardo Spyder on the motorshow. Sadly no Murciélago roadster. Other special cars are the Carrera GT, 3 Wiesmanns (incl. one GT), RR Phantom, Maybach 57 S, SLR, some ContiGT's and FS, Arnage T, the new Cayenne Turbo S, AM V8 vantage, DB9 cabrio, Vanquish S, new XK Coupé and Cabrio, Ford GT, Exige 240R, S8, RS4, Maser GranSport and QP Executive GT, Ferrari 612, F430 Coupé and Spider, and 330 GT 2+2, Novitec 575. I think that's about it.
