Spa: Viper, Stratos, 996 GT3(RS), 911 Carrera RS, Skylines
 

This will be the last Spa topic this year ;) The pics were shot late October, when I made a quick 'pit stop' at Spa during a small track day. So don't expect much supercars ;) I arrived pretty late (at 3 o'clock) and it was already getting dark pretty soon. So not as many pics as usual, and it wasn't easy to shoot pics in the evening dusk. But the dusk pics that were ok turned out pretty nice.


Most special car of the day was this red Viper. I'm not too fond of the hardtop but this thing sounds brutal.

Also pretty special: a Lancia Stratos in original Alitalia livery. I didn't saw it driving on the track, so it prolly was there for another reason.

There was only one Ferrari to battle against the Porsches, this silver 348 TS. Not the best colour IMO.

the dark pic with the 996TT and C2 is stunning 8) its a bit blury but OK :wink:
and a shoot of a Lotus elise is also cool 8)

Nice find on the Stratos, I dont think I have ever seen one in person.

The Viper's hardtop is quite nice IMO, I saw one in may @ Affolter :)

WOW, the silver 348 is damn nice IMO! So rare!

As for the Stratos. such lovely cars!!!!! For a while I hoped to see at leat a roadgoing version, but it's still an amazing sight!

Out of this bunch that Viper looks the goods. That is one meancing looking machine. And the Lancia stratos is a great site for sure. Also the skylines, the black one with the semi-slicks :shock: :good:

I think liking a certain pic is a personal choice (les gouts et les couleurs ne se discute pas ;)). Personally I liked the one in the poll over the other CGT pics, because of the helmet and gloves on the rear wing of the car.

HAHA, if the author doesn't contact me telling which picture he wants to use, I pick it for him yes.

IMO the two posted by stmoritzer aren't as good, the first is framed too low and the angle is too "angled".
The second again framed too low and a bit too much to the right even :D

Anyway pictures are a VERY subjective thing :bah: Wouter is free, like everybody else, to let me know his favourite picture before the end of the month and the new poll of course ;)

Sure, but all the rest was better :D the helmet on the car perfect showing, no weird angles ;) better framing.. again, as always, that's my opinion, and sadly everybody has his own :D that's why it is easier if everybody can PM me near the end of the month ;)
