Ferrari 360 photoshooting in Ibiza

I spent my summer holidays in Ibiza, Baleares/Spain

A very hot day, 35°C, we were driving towards the cool beach, when I suddenly saw this rental car

dingo 11-18-2005 06:43 PM

I prefer your rental car to the 360. :P

there are indeed many pictures waiting in the editing queue, 500+ from the BritishClaasicCarMeeting in St.Moritz, Ferrariday videos, 2 or 3 Carhaunting sessions in Zürich and St.Moritz, 50+ tuner-car pics from Zürich Car Show (Miura corse, Imola Racing, Affolter and NovitecRosso)
and a set of Ibiza carsightings, which will be next :)

According to the homepage, they charge 1500Euros (per day I guess)

pzgren 11-21-2005 05:37 AM

nice pics dude. €1500 per day? holy sh** so, if knowing this i would choose the seat too :D

and with that queue it wil not be boring at all for you in the near future

Polouser 11-29-2005 10:00 AM

1500,- is really hard.. ^^

Jabba 11-29-2005 12:39 PM

So in around 60 days you could have bought the car to keep forever.

Pehtren 11-29-2005 12:42 PM

more like 90 days

I guess a few days more - How much is a 360Modena F1 ?

Anyway who rents a sportscar on this small island (50km long) without any highway, lots of traffic ,...

I checked the homepage, it is 1500Euros/day
http://www.gevicar.es/esp/alquilercoche.php?id=136
but only 1200 if you rent the car on the mainland

Polouser 11-29-2005 01:21 PM

After 80 days, you can buy a good 360 modena.

WRONG

1,500 EUR = 1,027.88 GBP

and 1027.88 x 60 = 61,672.80

which will buy you a more expensive RHD 360 fron a main Ferrari dealer here :

http://www.theferraricentre.com/boss...el=&condition=

Jabba 11-29-2005 01:33 PM

A cheaper LHD but still nice 360 here in less than 54 days.

http://www.rsjsportscars.co.uk/vehic..._modena_28.htm

This time of the year I could buy a LHD 360 privately for under 50K easy.

maybe a stupid question, but what does it mean LHD and RHD ?

Jabba 11-29-2005 01:37 PM

Left Hand Drive and Right Hand Drive...you really need RHD for the rarer (and therefore costs more) UK market as we drive on the left hand side of the road.

Pehtren 11-29-2005 01:39 PM

left hand drive, right hand drive. i presume.

Jabba i was calculating, i found at our dealers that the chapest F360 costs 135000 euros

that means in our money 32 400 000 SIT...
135000 * 240= ^^

1 euro......240 SIT

:D

They are ripping you off then or adding a shit load of taxes...otherwise buy it from the UK I guess.

Thanks for the hint :)

stmoritzer 11-29-2005 01:48 PM

I checked some second-hand 360ModenaF1 in Switzerland, they cost between 90k and 100k Euros

Polouser 11-29-2005 01:50 PM

but the cheaper is not always the better ;)
its from '99 with 19.000miles...

I would prefer a LHD 2004 modena with 4.000miles in 80 days..

You've missed the point. It was 60 days of renting the rental 360 (I bet thats well fucked btw) or own your own 360 even if its a '99 model.

Sounds like a decent racket to get into!, but I wonder how much they have to spend on maintainance each year not to mention insurance! :hmm: *AL wonders how much people will pay for Mini hire................. :P
