stradale 12-10-2005 03:02 PM

Congrats, thamar! Looks like a good deal, € 1000 for a car with 16,000 kms.

One thing though, is it me or does it sit very high on its wheels, especially at the rear? Or have those 16,000 kms been covered off road?

You have good eyes. It's definitely not low rider

Wutputt 12-10-2005 03:55 PM

Not a bad deal: only € 1000 for such a low milage. And finally you can enjoy the power of a petrol engine

MIHALS 12-10-2005 04:05 PM

ARMAN 12-10-2005 07:06 PM

1000??? :o 16000??? :( :P  What better deal you can get?! Looks very very newish :)

TransAm 12-12-2005 02:06 PM

Old peoples cars always have scrapes in those places, but it looks like a really clean car other than that...

For E.1000 it is a bargain for sure.

Dubai 12-19-2005 02:56 PM

my first car was a Polo 1996/97, with BBS Wheels 16". Man was it cool. I love that car so much, that I got a GTi now. :D

Many many wonderful memories in my Polo... Hopefully you will enjoy it as I did..

Omran

ARMAN 12-24-2005 07:24 PM

Thats what am talking about :) Nice, I like white side lamps and white lights gotta get those for me too :P

ARMAN 12-25-2005 09:11 AM

Do they sell the rear lapms all red so there is no orange? It would look good on it imo.
Man that brual way to attach PDA holder :(

ARMAN 12-25-2005 10:15 AM

^^ those looks nice, a bit too dark for me but better than orange lapmps

Spraying will make light less bright, not? Latest Polos had all red laps, dont know if they fit that model though, is that the one you talked about? :?

ARMAN 12-25-2005 12:01 PM

Hehe its your car afterall :D
My dad was kind of pissed that I have my own car and dont have to ask him to use his anymore

ARMAN 12-26-2005 04:33 PM

Khoool :P Lights will look good on it. Any other mods planned? Sporty steering wheel? Better wheels?

ARMAN 12-26-2005 06:51 PM

lol I am buying one  infakt I have to cause mine is huge and slippery(i mean st.wheel) :? We have same amout of power in our cars btw

10 years  thats the first thing should be changed imho :!: 195/50/15 will fit it

ARMAN 12-26-2005 08:01 PM

bought my rims for 83€ :) all 4 :P look in the forums of cheap cars there are people who need money and need to sell theyr wheels fast, you can get it really cheap from this kind of source

TransAm 12-29-2005 07:24 PM

Dang. I see you ordered the lights, I was going to suggest using a Dremel if your lenses are glued.

ARMAN 01-02-2006 04:06 PM

hm.. any pics? :) 580€

Wutputt 01-03-2006 02:14 PM

Some really nice 5-spoke rims ;)

But do you also get the car which is written on the center logo with the rims. Cause that would be the bargain of the century

ARMAN 01-03-2006 04:32 PM

Nice rims, curious to see in on the car.
http://www.jom.de (i am sure someone sell them in Belgium) sells pretty cheap springs but I thought ist vital to buy the shocks too cause the original ones hardly survive long with lower springs but its possible to do it that way too :)

ARMAN 01-03-2006 05:21 PM

Let me see... new shocks for Lada... 162€ all four :? No, no spring for my car

ARMAN 01-03-2006 07:34 PM

Slightly lower and sporty exhaust and its all what is needed 8) looks deffinitly better :good:

TransAm 01-04-2006 03:10 PM

You should superchip it, it will do 0-60 in 5 seconds then!

SFDMALEX 01-04-2006 03:19 PM

I figure 4.8 with a chip, plus a transistor upgrade ;)

TransAm 01-04-2006 03:22 PM

You'd need a flux capacitor really to hit high 4's mate

SFDMALEX 01-04-2006 03:27 PM

Ahh, well I can order one direct from Japan. They have double flux caps in one, a bit pricy but its from Japan you know.

1zippo1 01-04-2006 04:27 PM

That model of the Polo is much better then the one after it. That had those 4 round lights, looks to girlish.

This model is quite nice though, but you do have to do some light mods. And you seem to be doing just that so :-) Those are really nice alloys btw!!

I loved the GTi version of that Polo in black. 125hp and definitly a good looking small car.

good luck with it Thamar

TransAm 01-04-2006 04:40 PM

Looks good mate.

Have you seen the Polo BS thread yet?

TransAm 01-04-2006 04:47 PM

http://www.motorworld.net/forum/show...086&highlight=

Wutputt 01-04-2006 05:33 PM

ARMAN 01-04-2006 05:59 PM

ARMAN 01-06-2006 03:36 PM

He ment that he saw it already  look 5 posts up

TransAm 01-16-2006 12:28 PM

That's looking clean, dude! 8)

Wutputt 01-16-2006 03:03 PM

Clean looking car! It looks way better than when you bought it :good:

ARMAN 01-16-2006 05:29 PM

Now cut the original springs  hehe

Looks clean and nice

ARMAN 01-16-2006 08:17 PM

ARMAN 01-20-2006 04:14 PM

ARMAN 02-22-2006 06:19 PM

LOL JW effect  (i mean suspention thing) The more you change the more you want, its called tuning - multimilionare business

ARMAN 03-06-2006 03:59 PM

Is it blue-loke light or its just the pic? By the pic it looks like a big improvement cause its not old-car yellow light anymore :)
I've switched for some bright lamps also but dont know if there is a big difference :?

Wutputt 03-06-2006 04:15 PM

That's a huge difference! It now looks way better compared to the old style yellow lights.

ARMAN 03-06-2006 05:05 PM

TransAm 03-06-2006 11:12 PM

+ After the lowering you need to make an appointment with the motor vehicle inspection service to get the car reinspected. They even let you go to the part of "reinspection after an accident". They look for every single detail, and if something is wrong you get a red card meaning you can call a towing company to get your car to the garage.

I didn't know Belgium was still occupied by the Nazis...

There are actually laws against DIY?

Unbelievable....

TransAm 04-05-2006 08:00 AM

^ Just the bulbs I think, although the Polo GTi came with Xenon (HIDs) from the factory but it is the facelift shape so not an easy retrofit mod to this shape Polo.

Thamar, what the fuck is a booth? hehe. :P

j/k looks like a nice set-up, what kind of music are you treating your fellow roadusers too?

Yes the music needs to be good in the car, 4k rpm at 120 makes me go crazy ;) And the music makes me forget the little ponys i have  And since engine-tuning and belgium don't really mix...

I've always had good experience with Infinity speakers. Seem to be the best value for money IMO.

If they are cheaper to buy in the USA, then I can help you out. PM me if you want.

4k RPM at 120kmh? You'd hate an S2000 then!
