Local meeting: Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus, Porsche... 20+ cars
 

So, there is this regional website launched a couple of months ago by a friend of mine, JC, the guy with the 550 and 355. We crossed our ways sevral times already, at local meetings and even at the Nürburgring this summer :!:
Since his website is about car reviews too, I just asked him if there was a way for me to take pics of them and well, I sort of became the official photograph!
The forums is pretty slow, we have less than 50 members, but it will hopefully grow. Anyway, to start knowing eachother, and to take pics of the members' cars, I tried to put together a meeting/drive. It worked LOL! I have to say thanks to Seb (yellow Elise) for the logistics help and to all the others who took their cars for a spin in a day with absolutely awfull weather conditions! In the end we had 20+ cars, even if a couple of them just stopped by in the morning before we left for our loop and restaurant! It's a lot!
You will also find a couple of JW members' cars in there, leo's Impreza and Shini's SLK55, thanks guys!
For the records, for the whole trip I was passenger in the 360 and 550, so a special thanks goes to Frank and JC for beeing so kind and generous!
Now let's hope to attract more car nuts and have 50 cars the next time.. and the sun too maybe :D

Yep, it has gunmetal Gransport wheels, carbon hood and Tuby exhaust ;)

HAHA, there were some riced out japanese cars up that mountain .. sadly impossible to avoid having that Civic in the group shot ;)

BTW, sorry for not beeing able to work on the 4200 indepth, there was no time, but it's still planned..

about indepth, tomorrow I will shoot 3, and the 3 cars were at the meeting.. one was really a big surprise :D let me cross my fingers hoping I will be able to take some proper pics!

Well, we talked about it for about 30 pages on asphalte.ch but no other advertising. Not sure such meeting would attrack lot of ppl, but when lot of ppl come, it's harder to take good pics ;)
we did a loop from Lausanne to the Lac de joux and back to lausanne.
we should do another drive after the winter I guess ;)

Very nice pics as usual. You've really captured the colors of the Murcielago and green elise well! and that black NSX is very sleek, do you think you'll be getting any road tests in those cars in the future?

As I was saying, I should have three road tests and in depth features tomorrow yes, a yellow, a black and an orange car :D let's keep crossing the fingers ;)

haha you have a BMW that is really good already!!!! my friend has the same type of BMW. 325i 5-Speed and it goes!!! this is coming from the fact that ive never been in a supercar.

It's very interesting because there are several varieties of cars at this gathering.
This kind of diversity makes possible to satisfy more car fans. :D

Even if the temperature was not the best, it makes possible to carry out very beautiful photography. :wink:

The two Ferraris are the best (obviously), lovely colour for the Murcielago and a nice selection of Elises.

i also like the colin chapman autograph on the krypton green elise alot :D nice touch 8)

The pics are great as always The rain droplets in combination with the polarizing filter did a great job. I really like the comboshots with all the cars in it. But also the pics of the yellow 111R with the slightly foggy background is great. The black panel around the rear lights of that yellow 111R looks very cool!

hehe, the onyl 5 minutes during which we saw some sunlight (far away from us though ;))

Not much more power.. only the couple of HP that a Tubi exhast can give

Thanks. There hasn't been that many modifications: the rear wing and the wheels (without talking about the engine). I had thought about changing the exhaust, but I have never found something that I really liked and it usually cost a lot, so maybe on my next car...

You already have a next car in mind? :D

If my uncle agrees on selling it, yes: a Mitsubishi Evo VII gray with quite a lot of modifications (340 hp + others). The problem is that he only has it for a little over one year, so he doesn't want to sell it yet. I will wait, I have plenty of time.

The Impreza used to be his also. What is great is that he is a real maniac, so he treats his car very well. Mine was still smelling as a new one after 45'000 kms :shock: He used to have some great cars too: Porsche Carrera RS (993 if I am correct, not sure), Ford Sierra Cosworth, Ford Escort Cosworth (still in the family), Clio Williams and some others. Now he has the Evo, a RS4 (he is thinking about changing it for the new one) and a 997 Carrera S. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to drive any of his cars :(
