Out of all your cars, which holds the record for top speed on your top speed table??

Mine is this:

Dodge viper SRT10 `03 268.90 mph


I think I could squeeze a bit more out of it because I wasn't even near the redline, just ran out of track in the end.

Nope - I just made a 5 or 6000hp hybrid car - with F1 chassis, turbo/supercharged modded out the wazzooo.

gt3 was more known for those goofy car hacks

in GT 4, the CLK GTR i had somewhere around 315mph on the power+speed course IMO its pointless

I enjoy the hybrid in GT3 becaus eit lets me make reasonable tuner style custom changes to my favourite cars - the 2000 Cobra R, Z06 and unlocked Porsche 993 and Diablo.

Wait...I know there's a JGTC Diablo in GT3, but there's a Porsche 993?

I was mistaken ;) - I checked again, it is a 996 GT3. :)

I hauled out a set of special cars earlier this evening... ran my 2220hp 4WD 996 GT3 Radical Special... pulls 220mph on the front straight away of... Laguna Seca... ;)

The Veyron Crushing 5500hp C5 Z06 will pull 260mph on the front straight at Laguna and still be stable enough to brake for turn 1... (the Formula 1 suspension helps alot ;) :P) - and it tops out at 415mph on the oval test track... it bounces off the revlimiter the whole way round,, I need to figure out a way to run a taller gear than 0.7 with a 2.0 rear end.

I so wish someone would have figured out the compression and encryption of the GT4 pack-files so that hybridding would have been possible.

^^ hahahaha...damn man, almost makes me wish I had a gameshark myself...

Mines is 9999.99MPH in a McLaren Mercedes SLR using some action replay mega turbo code it may sound easy but needs skill because around the longo bend if youre going that speed you just blast through the barrier and up in no-mans land.

in gt3 i remember u could change the downforce and then use the escudo to do pretty much any speed...

tvr cerbera speed twelve makes 270.01 mph :|

^^ 270.01 isn't too bad, but once you've got some cars like the Minolta Toyota, you'll be able to run it up to well over 300 without too much trouble.
