Taken from a pistonheads run last weekend.... Murci and R1 overtaking a Sagaris....

One in normal and one in widescreen ;)

Isn't there something strange in the Murcielago? As if it was paster afterward. I don't think it would be that easy to both have the biker and a car that far ahead so sharp.. either you follow the bike, either the car while taking the pic and one of the two must be a bit blurry

dingo 05-10-2005 10:55 AM

yep I agree with TT, the Murci just doesn't look right - its much to clear/sharp :?

mindgam3 05-10-2005 11:01 AM

Yeah its been touched up slightly.

Same photographer as:

I don't think you could touch it up that well, if the pic was taken with the Murci slightly blurry you wouldn't get it as sharp as it is in that pic AFAIK :? In any case its a nice pic, so thanks :D

stmoritzer 05-10-2005 12:15 PM

also the size of the murci is strange compared to the biker ....

bultaco_metralla 05-10-2005 12:40 PM

Its not real, LOL, you just have to think that the speed sensation decreses with the longitude... so the street should be more defined in front of the lambo    anyway NICE PIC

gtx28 05-10-2005 01:17 PM

Actually the bike is what caught my eye, why are all the surroundings so blurry but you can see perfect detail in the spokes of the bikes rear wheel?????????

bmagni 05-10-2005 02:44 PM

also the shadow of the murci doesnt look quite real, i hate when people do that stuff...

Well spotted: everything is fake then in this pic.. the biker and bike could be sharp but definitely not the rotating wheel! I think it was taken at very low speed and also the speed effect added afterward.. too bad :bah: it's still well done

Few more from the run - as said the one posted is a tweeked version as is the last on here, the rest are all none-edited.

The R1 and murci were on the same run

It seems to me that to much blur was added and the Murci doesnt seem to belong the pic.

bultaco_metralla 05-11-2005 03:04 AM

This not edited pictures are more awesome than the first... i love the one with slow writed in the road... with the speed sensation its nice ironic !!!

noosee 05-11-2005 03:42 AM

Nice pic, but Murcielago was photashopped into it :D

mindgam3 05-11-2005 12:21 PM

I've discovered what he did to it.

The photo was taken with the murci, R1 and sagaris and everything was in focus and just about as sharp as it looks.

He just used the motion blur effect on everything except the vehicles so thats why they stand out a bit more than they should.

Used the same tool for the last one

davide 05-11-2005 03:17 PM

motion blur effect... does that exist in Photoshop 7.0? :D

mindgam3 05-11-2005 03:49 PM

Cornutu 05-11-2005 04:29 PM

what's funny is, the blur makes it look really fast but the murci appears to be brakeing
now that I look, the bike is brakeing also

Nik^XeN 05-11-2005 05:40 PM

that original is much nicer! tobad it isnt that big as the fukd ones..

sentra_dude 05-12-2005 02:09 PM

Would have been better if they had only used PS to fix up the colors and contrast, and not messed with motion blur. Still a cool picture tho.
