Unbelievable!!!! Just to meet Valentino would have been enough, but to see all those Lambo's just makes it even better :D The pics are great - some turned out absolutely stunning :D
I am not a huge fan of those tuned models - the stock ones are much nicer IMO
I will now look over all the pics again.....seeya :P

robruf 04-30-2005 09:49 PM

great pics TT, another excellent job, love the murc and gallardo's with the paint matching rims

T-Bird 05-01-2005 01:52 AM

are those dealer tuned Lambo's?
I think I'll take the Yellow Murci and the matching Yellow Mustang behind it.

vakpemil 05-01-2005 03:54 AM

Some really strange Lambo's... but there all great :D

komotar 05-01-2005 05:22 AM

Crazy pics man. 8)

I saved a lot of diablos but only 2 or 3 murcielagos..... :? Not that the pics aren't
great, it's just that imo the diablo has waaaay more charisma than the murci.

I hope today goes well for you. Who knows you might even catch a ride with Valentino

adamwich 05-01-2005 06:13 AM

GREAT Pictures! Thanks TT!

ARMAN 05-01-2005 07:29 AM

Great pics TT!! :P Thanx

Diablos with no wings and stock wheels look the best. Riced out Lambos looks ridiculous really

stradale 05-01-2005 08:30 AM

^^^ I fully agree. The Affolter modifications don't exactly float my boat. With the exception maybe of that Grigio Antares Murciélago with darker rear light clusters and darker wheels. That one does look good!

Nevertheless, you don't see so many rare and brutal cars together! :D I loved the brown LP400 and the Jalpa. The same goes for the unmodified Murciélagos, Gallardos and Diablo roadster. The louvred rear deck of the orange Gallardo looked good too. I can't say the same about the other mods on that car though. :(

yg60m 05-01-2005 10:33 AM

Affolter is a big Lambo concession but I don't really like its transformations, I think a Lambo is very hard to tune without wasting its lines ...

Wutputt 05-01-2005 11:04 AM

What a crazy amount of Lambos together. You won't see so much Lambos in the same place that often. Thanks for posting these amazing pics. But I've the same remarks as most other JW members. Those Affolter mods aren't exactly my kind of taste. Especially those wings are ruining the lines imo.

My favourite in all these pics still is the Jalpa. I can't explain why, but I really like it. My other favourite is your Miura. A Miura is always special, and on top of that, yours has Balboni's autograph.

I hope you had a great time today. Getting up early to meet some amazing cars is well worth it ;)

stmoritzer 05-01-2005 12:20 PM

Looks like you are going to have a great weekend TT !

Thanks so far for the pics, I'm on 56K at the moment and will have a look at the pictures tomorrow.

The Murci 40th and yellow one, as long as the two Gallardo, black and orange one were used by Affolter to display their aftermarket parts (wheels and LeMans bodykits/wings). All the other cars are basically customer's, beside one of the red Diablos and a couple of Murci

Absolutely impossible. He told me he would like to take everybody for a spin, but the rules were "customers" only. period.
he never stopped. he must have clocked thousands of miles these two days.. and tonight he blasted through Switzerland and Italy to be back in Sant'Agata.. I am sure he never dropped below 250 km/h :D

Like you, I dont like them that much, but it is impressive to see how many Affolter's Diablo GTR Evo were sold! i think they did 3 generations of it! Ppl must like it I guess...
What impressed me the most, talking about aftermarket stuff, was this:

No.1 05-01-2005 05:50 PM

What a great day this must have been!

I like the pics, and the Diablo in the second row of pics is probably the best looking of the modded cars. I can see how one might think the Murcs/Gallardos with the black rims and body coloured details on the rims look cool, but they look best stock IMO :)

Again, i would stay away from the body stripes too, but the wings look alright :)

The brown Countach looks as if it has come straight out of a comic book, cell shading and all :P

Thanks for the pics TT... many will soon be added to my Archive

Toronto 05-01-2005 05:59 PM

wow just amazing
http://www.swisscarsightings.com/aff...ardo%20540.jpg
love this car
is that a cls and old vette in the back? :D

TT 05-01-2005 06:02 PM

In the back there was a CL55 AMG (window reflection), but not sure where you are seeing the old Vette. There was one exactly behind me, but I can't see to see it reflected anywhere

Toronto 05-01-2005 08:07 PM

sorry TT I was talking about this image.

Superb pics TT... but as many of you have already said... I prefer the stock Lambos... just like the Ferraris, they're extremely hard to tune without ruining its lines... However, this kind of meetings must be better than sex!!! :D Thanks a lot for the pics... I'll check them later! :D

Cool, I saw pics from MC taken this weekend and it was pretty hot!

Happy editing dude, I still have 180 pics to do myself

stmoritzer 05-02-2005 07:04 AM

Happy editing TT and dani_d_mas :D
CAn't wait to see your sights...

pzgren 05-02-2005 07:23 AM

wow, a very nice set of all different lambos - wonderfull!

stmoritzer 05-02-2005 12:38 PM

Ok, today I got time and better internet connection to have a look at the pics.
Very nice ones, of course

the brown Countach is used as a troop transporter I guess... crossing Switzerland in about 1hour

saved many pictures... for me aswell I prefer the "standard" Lambos.
Especially the rims: it's hard to find rims which suits to a Lambo, that one is a NO-go

... on wednesday I guess

TT 05-02-2005 05:46 PM

Well, I guess if you would trade in a shiny real Miura I could consider the deal and will then drive to Sant'Agata to have a giant autograph on the roof of the real thing :D

definately not, have a look at a standard Murcielago  The rears on this one are also the deep-dish (whatever the name is) type which is not the case on the standard car

TT 05-03-2005 04:00 AM

On the other side, the same car had the stock wheels:

http://www.swisscarsightings.com/aff...lago%20618.jpg

stmoritzer 05-03-2005 04:04 AM

thanks TT, didn't notice that the other side (in the shadow) had different rims.
I like the stock ones much more, maybe worth a POLL to see JW' opinion....

TT 05-03-2005 04:09 AM

I am sure most of us prefer the stock wheels, but if Affolter offers such aftermarket ones, I fear it is because there are quite a few customers interested in them :bah:
