Lately I've been listening this mix between my favourite bands:

Metallica (All the CD's)
Rammstein (All the CD's)
Linkin Park (Hybrid Theory EP; LPU V4.0)
System of a Down (Self Titeled; Toxicity)
Dry Cell (Disconnected)
And about 10/15 Tool songs.

ZfrkS62 02-25-2005 03:58 PM

damn Drijf, i thought i had alot of music

Hey Brembo, Have you ever heard of a band called Amulet? They went on tour with Turbonegro here in the US and i picked up their album at the show. I was just wondering if they have put out anything other than Danger!Danger!

SilviaEvo 02-25-2005 04:01 PM

anything on 1077

Apac102 02-25-2005 04:17 PM

what does amulet sound like?

ZfrkS62 02-25-2005 04:18 PM

Yeah, my roomate and i were listening to it in his car one night after the show and i looked over and his speedo read 105MPH...and this was in a 95 Camry
i'm going to have to find those other two albums..

Apac, IM me and i'll transfer one of their songs to you if you want to hear them. They don't sound like anything being played on the radio right now, so it's a good thing :P

Fleischmann 02-25-2005 04:43 PM

AHC was supposed to be on the Pledge of Allegience tour in 01 but they weren't at Seattle :? I wasn't too impressed with the sampler that was being handed out though.

Amulet is classified as Punk. But i think the term 'Punk' is kind of being thrown around abit. Good band, but i don't think they fit their label..at least not the album i have

Try Eyes of Fire and Dog Fashion Disco. Eyes of Fire is a pretty good band, and one of the rare bands where the bassist is the lead singer (being a bassist myself, that scores the band more points :D )

ZfrkS62 02-25-2005 05:32 PM

i guess i'm not that far behind you :D

Fleischmann 02-25-2005 05:37 PM

I have about 15Gb's of music alltogether (mine and my brothers MP3's + a few music videos)

ZfrkS62 02-25-2005 05:41 PM

LOL. i'm afraid to take up that much space on my hard drive

ZfrkS62 02-25-2005 06:32 PM

screw your music file, how about sharing your wallpaper :D

Crap...81GB  how freakin big is your hard drive?!

666fast 02-25-2005 07:18 PM

No Mp3's on this computer, so I've got the CD player going.

Disc 1 is Enya, yea, I used to hate it, but my mom listens to it a lot, I guess it rubbed off.
Disc 2 is a burned CD I made with lots of stuff on it, Beasitie Boys, Pennywise, Nikola Sarcevic, Fingers Cut Mega Machine, Millencolin, Lars Frederikson and the Bastards, and The International Noise Conspiracy
Disc 3 is Darude
Disc 4 is NoFX and Rancid Split album. Nofx does a bunch of Rancid songs and Rancid does a bunch of NoFX songs, good stuff.
Disc 5 is Long Beach Dub Allstars "Wonders of the World"

ZfrkS62 02-25-2005 07:28 PM

Right at the moment i'm listening to Dog Fashion Disco.. Picture System of a Down on crack with Marilyn Manson like titles, and you amy just be in the range of these guys. Weird shit, but it's good :D

abbor 02-25-2005 08:08 PM

This is my current playlist:
http://home.no.net/redheadn/JW/playlist.html.html

The Game - The Documentary (Much better then other G-Unit cd's like 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and such..)
Snoop Dogg - R&G
Dire Straits - Greatest hits

And I've been listening to Guns 'n Roses lately.. :)

ZfrkS62 02-25-2005 08:20 PM

Hey, all you metal/hardcore fans, I've been listening to this lately:
http://www.espritduclan.com/site%202...verencemp3.jpg

It's a song form the upcoming album 'Reverance' by L'esprit du Clan (french band)

ZfrkS62 02-27-2005 02:17 PM

They did, but it's only remixes of their earlier songs and they are all worse than the originals. The latest album is a dissapointment too IMO :(

wait..so they put out a follow up to Mutter AND the remix album? FUCK! i'm fallin behind here :?

findleybeast 02-27-2005 04:30 PM

yeah, the new album is Feuer Frei. I don't think it's bad, but it's hard to follow up on an album like Mutter. And personally, I like the Vater remixes (most of them anyway)

360modena 02-27-2005 04:59 PM

WOW lot's Rock n Roll for everybody :D

Here is my playlist of the moment :
- Queens of the Stone Age
- Desert Session
- The Hives
- Muse
- Placebo
- A very good Band I discovered with a Peugeot Advert : M.A.S.S
for all punk Rock lovers take five minutes to ear "Testify" at http://www.masstheband.com/)

less nervous:
- Porstishead
- Lou reed
- Massive Attack

ZfrkS62 02-27-2005 05:00 PM

Feuer Frei? wasn't that track 5 on Mutter? dammit..i'm wondering what else i've missed now :? Downside to Louisiana..Rock music gets the backseat to Country, R&B/Hip Hop/cRap, Gospel and Zydeco <== which actually can be pretty cool in small doses

No, no, no. They let out an album with remixes called 'Vater'. And in mid 2004 they let out an album called 'Reise, Reise'.

Feuer Frei was just a single with the song from the film XXX. The song was also found on the mutter album.

Ok, '04 isn't that bad. maybe i'm not as out of it as i thought. I thought releasing an album named after one of your songs was a pretty odd idea.

|Nuno| 02-27-2005 05:36 PM

^^ Is Vater official stuff? Never heard of any official Remix album, and at least over here, it wasn't for sale.

Also, they will release Reise, Reise's follow up in 2006; should be called Reise, Weiter. I have mixed feelings about it, since it will consist mainly of stuff that didn't make it to Reise, Reise...

findleybeast 02-27-2005 06:31 PM

haha ok my bad, i got Freuer Frei and Reise Reise mixed up when I glanced at my albums.

and whether Vater is official is a good question, I'm curious too

adamwich 02-27-2005 06:36 PM

I'm listening to a polish band called ROOTWATER. These guys are pro's, I suggest you listen to some of their tracks (there is a keycard button at the bottom of the page allowing you to listen to all their songs in low quality - www.rootwater.pl You can also dwonload a few songs in 128kbits from that page.)

I'm going to their concert on Saturday  (3rd time)
