Koenigsegg in Melbourne
 

Saw this spectacular Koenigsegg in Chapel St, in the South Yarra suburb of Melbourne.... bloody hell it was lookin alright..!!

Sorry abt the shit quality shots, but didnt have a camera on the spot, so had to make use with a Nokia 7650.

It was parked outside one of the trendy cafes... and looking magnificent.
Tried to take pics if the inside, but the phone didnt pick any shit up in the dark.

Good experience though to see one. Probably the only one in the country i reckon.

Wow....its probably the same one we saw about a month ago with dealer plates though that was in Sydney. :?

i read something about them selling 2 cars when they where in austraillia.

OMG i'm so jealous. Y didn't i see any awesome cars when i was in Aussi?! - that's amazing. Two CCRs in aussi (well, it might be the same car, but i think the first sighting was in sydney.) Anyway, I'm glad the aussis like em and i hope all our JW members down under can snap off some more shots.

HEHE, sorry to burst the bubble but there is more than 1 CCR in Aus.. I've stood by as one ripped up here through the G.C to marina mirage... I know stfu without pics, but i'll get some. Because apparantly its owner lives in my suburb. :P The noise is incredible - Dingo i couldn't distinguish it from a V8 supercar :twisted:

why is this car so rare? Can you NOT buy it? Someone told me it wasnt for sale yet?

They sold 4 CCR's at the Sydney motorshow(oct-nov04) alone and apprently they have now sold 6 in the country. IF they are all actually in the country thats another story(wait to build etc).

Its the Melb motorshow next week, soo they prob just drove it down ?!@?!?@? or towed it down.

The car is rare cause they are a small operation and they cost about the same as a Ferrari Enzo did. It is forsale but maybe its not avalible in the states yet.

Some of them are CCR's, that's the car we've seen running around.. 8)

same cost as the Enzo? Damn other than pretty and cool doors... how does it compare to the Enzo? dont think it stands a chance on a track does it?

I'm not so sure about the handling, but with an additional 200hp, it might be closer than you think :twisted:

Im not 100% no, I can only tell u what I have read in car magazines etc but as far as Im aware they were all CCR's sold. Thou even if they were CC8's that still be impressive for a car that costs a cool $1mill.

I guess ppl who own this car are either insanely rich, or they were not invited by ferrari to get the enzo.

Just a little info, the Enzo cant be registered down here in Australia, i know of only one enzo here and that is Linsday Fox who has one as part of his collection.
