407 coupe - nice
looks pretty cool...i can see that this 407 coupe is taking some subtle styling cues from their RC concept cars
Looks good. Not as good as the 406 Coupe, but still very nice.
Thanks for posting. :) |
406 is one of the most beatifull cars that i saw, so its pretty hard to look better than that, but 407 coupe is much better then sedan, combi is ok
It ain't bad, but it certianly has lost the character and looks. I remember when I was a kid, I did a photo of the 406 coupe thinking that it was a Ferrari...this looks like the sedan with just different rear lights ;(

i reallt dislike that big mouth design, its not like it need it
It doesnt look bad at all although the former 406 is much more beautiful undoubtely with its ferrari cues...in fact for me the 406s shape has been one of the most brilliant ever in terms of its beauty and elegance
^^^ have to agree the 406 is still a beauty and i'm still impressed, new pugs are feral.
For me it has been a big mistake from pug to leave Pininfarina as its subcontracted car designer for the pug coupes, the pug cabrios and some saloon cars such as the former pug 205 or the pug 405....the 206 Coupe Cabrio looks great IMO though
For sure a lovely design as the 407 sedan , and IMO its a lot better than the 406 coupe
nice one....I'd bet that this car will be even faster that the sedan since its a coupe...
Love the interior more than exterior :) Somehow 407 doesn't look right from side-on view...
Not so bad (something wrong with the air scoops and the front bumper imo) , but the design aint compareable to that of the 406 coupe (well maybe not fair to compare pininfarina's work to that of pug's young inhouse designers)

Some higher res verions of the pics of the concept car (I'll only post the links, so our 56k friends won't be punished ;)):

I agree with KaBlookie that there are definitely some styling cues from the RC concepts in the design, especially in the rear. The rear flank of the car and the roofline resemble that of the 406 coupé, which I really like. The front is still a tad too long for my liking, but the vents just in front of the front wheels diminish that effect as opposed to the 407 berline. All in all I think it's a very good looking car, but slightly less than its predecessor, which is bound to become a classic like the 506 is nowadays.
I not a big fan
The rear isn't bad but I hate the front :? |
Thanks for the pics guys. The Front is better than that of the 407 sedan, but it still has a distinctly "catfish" look to it. The car overall is quite nice, though the 406 was still a far more beautiful car.
the problem with this car is that the front lights are too large
Not bad, but the designers had an awful job on their hands trying to better the 406C.
They failed  |
