Guys you know what the scary part is.. If they accually made it.. even if it looks as ugly as this one in the pix.. It would be everywhere you see.. Waiting list would be ridicules.. So if ferrari look at it as purely in money and not as an image of ferrari then they will make a forture.. But I hope they have some dignity in them and not build this SUV or any SUV under the name ferrari..

Yes, you're correct, it would sell like hot cakes. However, if Ferrari really wanted to make money, they would just produce more F430's, or even Maranellos.

The F430's production numbers should be around 2200 a year. Ferrari could easily make 5000 or more if they wanted. That way the image wouldn't be harmed and they wouldn't need to spend money in R&D, like they would with the SUV.

That's one of the reasons why this won't happen. Luca himself said it many times, and Todt thinks the same.

But unfortunatelly, this SUV idea could be applied in Maseratti...

Not a bad photoshop IMO, but definitely a bad Ferrari

In some magazine it was written some time ago that "car that didn't go in to production" and there was a Ferrari SUV and it said that "porsche made it first"(cayenne) or something like that.

Simply, Ferrari doesn't need to do a SUV, because Ferrari is part of FIAT group ( fiat, lancia, alfa romeo, ferrari, maserati ) , and hasn't got the big problem of have money for make sportcars ....infact Porsche made Cayenne for this cause...Porsche is indipendent, Cayenne was an easy way for have more money.... FIAT group has got lot of different ways ;)

im not seeing how the cayenne is a mistake. They are selling very well arent they? As long as they sell well porsche can then fund more projects such as another Carrera GT, or another GT1 or a new 959.

Cars like Ferrari and Porsche are not all about sales, They're more about image IMO ; they could acheive more sales through their subsidiary (or in Porche's case their parent) companies and stick to their job of making high profile spoerts cars. That's why I and many other Porsche fans would've prefered the Cayenne not to exist!

Yeah, the headlights are pointing almost directly at the ground.

and the passenger-side rear lights look kinda odd as well. the one farthest from the camera is bigger than the inner one, but if you look at the driver side both lights are the same size :P

thank god its just a PS, though by some oddball designer. anyone who likes Ferrari at all would never disgrace its good name with such things.

The Kubang is nice, though, and I think if that would have gone to production, Maserati would recover a lot of its losses.
