Most addictive racing game
 

What is the most addictive racing game that any of you have ever played or still are playing?

For me it would be Project Gotham Racing 2.

I've had it ever since it came out back in November of 2003 and I still play it often till this day.

that has to be outrun for the genesis :mrgreen:
I still have the console in my room and play the game

GTR for PC, or basically any true sim for PC as long as u have wheel and pedals

I'm still playing my Grand Prix4 after so many years.....

Best F1 simulator in my opinion.

Well, if I have too chose one i'd take Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec. it might have not enough cars and tracks imo, but i'm playing it longer then any other game I have

it will be need for speed underground 2, cuz u dun have enough money to done up every car

For me the most addictive games I've ever played are the Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed and the Grand Prix Legends. Incredible games and better simulators :D

F1 Career Challenge and GT3.

I wish i had a wheel for F1 though, it's hard to feather the brakes on that game with just a controller :(

GT2, believe it or not. Graphics might be shit by todays standards but that's my only complaint.

(I had to 'start again' when I moved to the US as I didnt bring memory cards for my PS1 with me but I don't mind it was fun)

For me its NFS Porsche Unleashed......just cant get enough of it :D :D

GTR, NFS Porsche Unleashed, F1 Career Challenge, Grand Prix 4 and Gran Turismo 2.

Havnt played all of them, in fact very few, but i love GT3. I kept going to a friends house to play it lol.

fer me is Grand Prix 4 .... i've put some 3D stuff into it .. made it much better 8)

For me its Richard burns rally on PC. I bought a steering wheel specifically for this game. Has to be the most realistic driving game ever.
Its not until you play it that you realise how unrealistic other games are. Colin Mcrae and other rally games seem so simple once you play it. A hardcore game for sure! Its probably the only real simulation for rallying currently available. Very hard, but oh so rewarding


I used to play NFS: porsche unleashed, but it got deleted for some reason. Good game though!

GT4 (prologue so far ;) ),
Toca Race Driver,
Live For Speed (this one got most realistic driving IMO),
Racer ( + its free, + extremly adjustable, - still got a lot of bugs)
and Moto GP on PS2 for sure ;)

Hmm......GT 2 because of the varities and all the cars it has.

You got it perfectly right mate.

It will make anybody think that its a sim if that is your first "sim" experiance. But it is an arcade racer. Horrible as far as simulation goes. You might want to take a good look at F1C99-02, or F12002 by ISIbut expect to work 10x harder at the wheel then you did with GP4.

Hey now, we're talking about most *addictive* racer, not most realistic.

And with that said, I'll pick NFS 3: Hot Pursuit :D

There is another Simulator called Grand Prix Legend.

It has the best game physics of all. You guys should give it a try.

ya SFDMALEX i got F1-2002 (barely played it though) and F1C 99-02 awesome game especially with RH03 and 04 mods but never play it anymor either cause i also got GTR!

GTR for me too. I played it like crazy, I was all sweaty and everything. So realistic that you hate every car game after that :D. It really is the only one that is sooo realistic. But then the game went crazy :(.

many, i like old nfs series,GT2 - cos only version i played,now its racer, www.racer.nl free game on net, waititing for Midnight Club 3 or Wordl racing 2

i have to say, project gotham racing 2 for the xbox, and f1c 99 - 02 for the pc with all the mods and stuff.

and of course i can't wait for gt4

have more than 400 hours on PGR 2 so thats gotta be it but I still play mario cart on my SNES and played it like crazy when i was young so maybe thats the most addictive racing game!

Grand Prix Legends has been my vice since 2002 ....

NFS1 I guess was VERY VERY addictive for me, playing till 7 in the morning very often and at 9 had to get up to school :mrgreen: someties I even didnt go to sleep at all hoping that I'll survive it(sleeping on the way to scool, in the school, on the way back LOL)
NFS 4 played the most cause bunch of cars/tracks were made and I did some cars myself.

Now LiveForSpeed got me :shock: :P

In any game always manual and all goodies off(ABS and stuff) RBR dont work on my PC :( some F***ing fx5200 crap problem :x

Colin MaCrae rally for the Xbox
Indycar racing for the arcade... its the only game i was able to beat without using the cheats..

The most addictive is the Gran Turismo 2 on PS...I played this game from 12 am to 12 pm :mrgreen: this is the best series of all GT series...
* after playing that long, I have to fix my PS cause it couldn't play a game anymore..
