Thats a nice collection mate....why did you buy the GT3 RS in both colours, better to get a different model then 2 nearly identical ones, but thats just my opinion. :)
|
Sweet couple the RS ;) I wanted to pick up the red one to go with my blue but then I decided it wasn't wise :D
BTW; I wasn't aware about the M5 ringtaxi model!!!! Is it already out? if not, when will it be released? |

Nice collection there!
|
at first I wanted the 1/10 Tamiya Enzo, spray it in gaillio modena and spray the wheels black --> gumball style
but they didn't have it :( , so bought this one and just order the Enzo body + wheels  http://img98.exs.cx/img98/9650/DSC02172.th.jpg http://img98.exs.cx/img98/2239/DSC02171.th.jpg http://img98.exs.cx/img98/4781/DSC2174.th.jpg Sportec modified engine :P http://img98.exs.cx/img98/2394/DSC2177.th.jpg |

wow dude nice collection. The CGT looks beautiful!
Good luck for when your mum sees her credit card bill  |
my collection so far;
http://img10.exs.cx/img10/337/dsc023136bm.th.jpg on their way: 2x 1999 GT3 sauberblue 2x 1998 GT3 supercup VIP car (Dealer Edition) 2x 1999 GT3 red (Dealer Edition) 1x E30 M3 Alpinewhite with Imolared interior 1x GT3RS white/blue 1x 2003 GT3 lapisblue all 1/43 :D |
Why did u buy the exact same model twice? U bought 2x 1999 GT3 Sauberblue, and 2x 1998 GT3 supercup VIP car (Dealer Edition) , 2x 1999 GT3 red (Dealer Edition).. These models r the same. Even their color is the same...
|
Quote:
I bought them for 30 each so 8) ,same with the red version and supercup also bought the blue RS twice because there are 2 version's , one has the correct striping = rivierablue, the other one is much darker but the rivierablue is very hard to find, I got the last one at belgian porsche importer and found another one on ebay, seller luckily didn't know about the colors :D |
So u intend to sell them... Hehehee!
|
That's sweet - the 996 is a really great car - i can see why you got so many. def makes the collection stand out. hope you get those ones u want?

it's a silver one ,number 430 068000 was the first color they released that model in, don't know why but seems to be very special those first colors :? if ever one appears on ebay, it won't go less then €200 so each € i can make profit on selling the rare models i got 2/3 times comes in handy :P |
lol personally i dont see a point in buying that many of the same model.........very nice, but i dont see the point.but whatever floats your boat i suppose :D
|
If you know you will be able to sell that model for a lot more ? Wouldn't it be stupid not to pay it ? It's so easy money... A friend of mine who got me into this 1/43, recently bought 7 GT3 models for €190...now they go for €200-€250 a model 8) |
yeah i see your point exactly, lol and it is a great idea, just meant i personally wouldnt buy models to intend to sell,id liek to get a model to keep. :D
|
The idea is actually clever, but the second I buy a new model, even if I already have an identical one in another color, I know for sure I will NEVER sell it :D
it's about collecting, not doing business :D |
^^^ thats exactly how i meant it,lol TT said it better :D
