God damn! 8) What kind of F40 is that racing one (what's it called)?
I don't really like the new wheels on the F40s. The originals give it more character IMO. |
Aswome pictures, where was the even held?
|
Longue Vue House and Gardens in New Orleans, LA. The other track event was held at No Problem Raceway in Donaldsonville, LA (about an hour away from New Orleans).
|
great pics man! thanks for sharing them with us :D BADMIHAI, that first F40 is an LM I think. |
mmmmmmmmmm my favorite color Ferrari Red :)
|
Thanks for the new pics....just as good as yesterdays. The supercars are just stunning...wish i could see them in real life.
BTW, is this event run every year or what? |
|
Woah thats an nice turnout!!!!! thanks for posting them up, some awesome desktops.
pitty about the people in the pictures :x |
Thanks man, i saved nearly all of them. I was wondering if you got any pictures of the black F50 without any people in the picture?
|
Stunning!! What a load of nice cars. And you took some great pics. I love the combo pics! And I have to agree with BADMIHAI, the aftermarket rims on the F40's and 288 GTO are not that nice. The standard wheels look far better.
|
Apert from the obvious amazing Ferrari's, the Countach and Muira are fabulous :D
The Murcielago Race cars are pretty special too  Shame that there were no more pics of the very rare black F50... or do you still haave some? |
Again stunning pics, i think in two days you have seen more ferraris than i have in a lifetime :D (which is saying something as there used to be a ferrari dealer in the next village to me :D) All of them fantastic but my favourite is here...... i usually prefer to the usual sea of red as far as Ferrari's go (my fav colour anyway) but this one is stunning :D :D 8) http://img107.exs.cx/img107/5978/PB130088.th.jpg

wow, amazing pics!
Got any more of the blue 355 thts in the 2nd pic apart from the one of its rear? |
Wouh !! Very greats, amazing, beautiful, nice ... pics man 8) !!! Absolutly fantastic this French Quarter Classic. Really good job !!
|
Where did megahurts go, he promised us a video of the Enzo taking off? :(
|
Gorgeous pictures man, thanks a lot. I'd love to have seen the 330P4, it's one of my all-time favorite vehicles...just incredibly beautiful.
|
This one is quite stunning too http://img130.exs.cx/img130/8760/PB130036.th.jpg
Actually, the overcast sky created some beautiful plays of light and shadows on the lines of a lot of these cars. |
very nice pics
thanks saved a couple of them |
dingo22: Yes, its run every year, this is the 5th year. Have patience with the video, we (megahurts4 & I) are both very busy (I have exams this week) so it may be a few days before we get any work done on sorting through the raw video from the track day.
sikx5: Quite a pity...for many of the pictures I stood there waiting for a moment when no one was in the picture, but it was hard because a lot of people turned out. mindgam3: No, only took one pic of that blue one...sorry. I'm glad you all like that pics, I took a few more today at the drive through the French Quarter (it was another amazing day! 8)), but I have two exams tomorrow, so no time to upload them yet. ;) Look for another topic tomorrow night possibly! :P |
Here's the directory on my server for two small clips. I really need to find a better codec, this one is poo. For the size of the video, I expected better visual quality, oh well, until I can find a good compressor, this is what you'll have to put up with :P
http://megahurts4.servebeer.com/fqc/ "burn" is probably what you are looking for  . *on a side note, my server is limited, so if somebody wouldn't mind hosting elsewhere, that'd be great. I can only upload at 48kb/s. |
Thanks alot sentra and megahurts....appreciate all the pics and the videos, will start d/l immediately. :D
|
Ohhhhh...WOW,....
Thanks a lot for letting us enjoy these beauties too! Too bad some of the cars are fitted with disgraceful wheels (2 F40s and a 288), but the incredible amount of gorgeous cars made up for that. And then some... The 330 P4 and GT40 mk.IV are of the same owner if I'm correct. I love those and the 250 California spider just as well. Miuras are all breathtaking, but IMO the ex Shah of Persia Miura SV is the ultimate. It is so beautiful! |
Dadiddilydam, that first pic is amazing. And those Murciolago's are the meanest cars i've ever seen(even though i don't think they've ever won). Thanks for posting them, these are great.
|
great pics MAN!!! how many 288 GTOs were there?
|
Two 288GTOs were at the track day, and 3 were at the Concorso (the one with aftermarket wheels didn't go to the track). Pretty amazing stuff, this last weekend! :D

I'd say you are pretty lucky yourself. :P |
wow that Enzo is from Montana? Montana is the best place to own a supercar because the speedlimits are unreadable and the police dont really care. but all those crosses are intimidating
|
Great pics. I didn't take nearly that many. Great Job.
|
Thanks...:D
You didn't happen to bring a video camera with you to the drive through the French Quarter on Sunday did you? ;) |
Actually my friend got me tickets to the saints game so I didn't even make it to the drive. I took a few small videos of the F-1 car going around the track but they aren't very good.
