Then she should be suspended for "insubordination" - not "illegal cartwheels".. ;)

Yep. She didn't obey the order from the teachers. Maybe the punishment was too harsh, but she should obey.
I believe she was told more than 3 times and continued.
Kids in these days don't respect anything

Yeah, but you remember how it was to be that age. If someone told you that you couldn't do something and it didn't make sense as to why you couldn't do it, you still did it anyway. It's useless to ask an adult why they are telling you that you can't do something because you know the answer is going to be "because i'm the adult and you're the child", or something to that effect.
I'm waiting for the day when swingsets and monkeybars dissapear from playgrounds because someone could get kicked or lose their grip. Let's just ban tag while we're at it so we don't have to worry about anyone tripping and scraping their knee  Do adults not realize that little kids bounce? I've seen kids take some spills that made me flinch but they just jumped up, no harm done, and were off again doing the same thing that they were doing when they fell.
i wonder if the adults that want to take childhood away from kids, ever had one of their own. :?
