Would you cut the grass if you could ride a Lambo or a Ferrari? I think not!

stradale 10-03-2004 11:07 AM

Finally! This topic ought to be here, next to the F355's thread... :D I knew the pics already, but I'm always pleased to look at them again!

Ford Capri 2.8i 10-03-2004 11:22 AM

I dont get bored either when watching carefully the shown pics, and of course a real car enthusiast should never get bored either

simply thanks for the great quality of the pics, and the beauty of the pics as well

nurbrun 10-03-2004 11:59 AM

cooperluke 10-03-2004 12:01 PM

Nice car!! Saw one just like yours but it was red and it had chrome wheels! Ver, very beautiful!

sameerrao 10-03-2004 12:03 PM

Hello old friend .... nice to your pics again ...

Damn I am talking to cars again!

Jabba a few questions/comments:
1. Were the body colour wheels standard?
2. Love the mats - they are like the Keith Collins mats available for Ferraris
3. How long does it take to put the roof back on?
4. Love the way you maintained the interior and exterior - looks brand new
5. Are you considering some Lambo/Ferrari/racing art to complement your lovely machines in the garage?

TT 10-03-2004 12:05 PM

BTW, just in case answers from Jabba will be a bit late, remember his PC rebuilding problems ;)

Anonymous 10-03-2004 12:13 PM

Awesome pics, quite a few i haven't seen before :D BTW I love the fluffy dice

http://www.supercarshowdown.co.uk/121204/9.jpg
Are they on the Lamborghini options list?! :P

topgeartom 10-03-2004 12:42 PM

looks absolutely beautiful jabba. Never realised you had matching plates on the 355 and the lambo. It looks as if it only just fits in the garage!

Gotta love the dice! As AL says - classy!

mindgam3 10-03-2004 12:47 PM

where is the front plate btw? :?

T-Bird 10-03-2004 02:01 PM

I have to say that is a very nice caar there do you clean it every day?
I like your choice of yellow I would get the same.

budagboy2 10-03-2004 02:02 PM

car looks great, what exhaust do u have on your car?

Wutputt 10-03-2004 03:55 PM

What a fabulous car, Jabba. And judging from the pics, it's well taken care of. The car looks brand new, not only the exterior shines like it should, also the interior isn't dirty or doesn't have any scratches.

btw, who hit the lamppost in the back of the pics? ;)

Jabba 10-04-2004 08:00 AM

The previous owners had sadly wrecked the whole place inc knocking the lamposts down. I am slowly getting the place back into shape now after a very long year of hard work.

The jabba mansiob still looking good! :)

Jabba 10-04-2004 08:06 AM

Wish I had put the cars in the middle of the lawn for that last photo :|

1zippo1 10-04-2004 08:30 AM

I was wondering, what car is that in front of the BMW, a Rover 45 or something? Is it yours? Didn't know you had one of those. A 2.0i I suppose?

Nice pics btw, the mansion surely looks good. Kinda reminds me of a Manions from one of the bad guys in a Bond movie 8)

EDIT: oops, forgot to look at the first page first. The diablo looks nice & shiny. If I ever had to sell my house I would rent a Diablo for a day, put it in front of the house and give the pics to the estate agent. I think the value would increase noticibly :D

stradale 10-04-2004 12:39 PM

Looks like a Rover 8 series to me. Anyway, is there something you'd like to tell us, Jabba?

P.S.: I'm guessing it is a visitor's car....

Jabba 10-04-2004 12:40 PM

You guess is correct. It was indeed a visitor.

Fleischmann 10-04-2004 12:57 PM

LOL...the pics with the Diablo set aside the lawn mower look hilarious.

And I love those oldschool pop-up lights. Magnificent car!! And what a house!!

adamk24 10-13-2004 06:25 AM

::finds it impossible to take his eyes of the pictures:: someday.... ....... someday...... Nice cars man. Its great to see that a real enthusiest drive around cars like that. Most every time I see someone driving a ferrari or a porche, its just someone who bought it for the status, not the drive. Sence Im new, and dont know any better, Il ask the question thats most likely already be asked but, what is it like to drive? :?:

Jabba 10-13-2004 07:12 AM

dropot2 10-19-2004 02:10 AM

We have seen his comp/Home theatre et al recently. But no pics of the Lambo or 355 Spider for ages. :(

Any new rides?

MIHALS 03-07-2007 02:26 AM

http://www.racing flix.com/featuredride.asp?f=7

Stoopie 03-08-2007 01:23 PM

Thx :D damn you must be anxious for the summer to drive that car topless again! :D

Jabba 03-08-2007 01:25 PM

If you mean the Diablo, that wont be happening any time soon as its currently broken, not that I have the time these days to do much supercar driving anyway.

Stoopie 03-08-2007 01:28 PM

Ah that's too bad! What's wrong with it? And yes I was talking about the Diablo :) Yellow and white are the best colours for that car btw, IMO :)

Jabba 03-08-2007 01:37 PM

Cats disentergrated and partly got sucked back into the engine, two new cats required (£6950) (engine management doesnt like it if this one is de-cated) togeather with possible engine rebuild £22,500 also the clutch was on borrowed time and that will be another £4,500...on a ten year old car...so prob will part ex it when I am interested and have more time to get another car.. and hope no one reads this thread in the mean time LOL.

And of course I have other hobbies now to drain all my spare cash, hd home cinema, JW, some other big projects (coming here soon  )

Stoopie 03-08-2007 01:47 PM

Damn that's a lot of £'s and some serieus engine trouble.. Give it a good thinking then I'd say Jabba! And more projects? *curious* Time will tell I guess :)

Ghostbat 03-08-2007 01:47 PM

Damn it's true what they say. Supercars ARE expensive to run.
