facelifted 147

http://www.italiaspeed.com/2004/moto.../147/1509.html

i dunno bout the facelift, seems to me that the current looks are still way ahead of their time. everytime i see mine driving towards me i always stare in amazement at the beauty of it.

the other improvements definately sound cool; mp3 player, bluetooth, etc.

and a new gearbox. i've always loved the selespeed, so this should be interesting.

thank god they've added comfort suspension tho, teh current suspension does get annoying on rough roads.

can't wait to see the revised GTA tho! hopefully it will come in all wheel drive!! :D

good, it's not jus me then! PHEW! funny to see Alfa come out with something to bland compared to before

topgeartom 09-25-2004 12:17 PM

it looks very, ermm, different - while it is wearing alfa's new design, i prefer the old one. The front lights look like they are too far apart, if you know what i mean. It looks meaner, but i still think the more 'pretty' design of the current model is better - i want one as my first car :D .

I like the facelifted 147, but they could of put beter wheels on the car.

Fleischmann 09-25-2004 02:18 PM

Lovely. I really like the small new touches added. More aggresive and it's an Alfa Romeo for fks sake!! Can't wait for the GTA version :D

I like the looks of the revised one, altough this kink of car looks much better with only 2 doors, the 4 door versions are horrible!

It's 3 or 5 doors ;)
That's the way we call hatchbacks overhere.

I like the current 147 more. The new front end of the restyled 147 doesn't do it for me. The current 147 is more sexy IMO.

Ford Capri 2.8i 09-25-2004 05:32 PM

I do prefer the current 147, however, the new one is beautiful, and clearly its the most beautiful car in its class. Anyway i wouldnt buy it....

bmagni 09-25-2004 07:24 PM

the facelift does well to it

what i like but alfa is that in the 147 the difference in appearance between the 5 door and the 3, is little

aks 09-26-2004 06:46 AM

hardly any diff wit 3 or 5 door as they 'hide' the door handles, so wat do u hate bout it jorge?

bmwmpower 09-27-2004 06:22 AM

i prefer 147 GTA autodelta
curent 147 is better, picture is picture,i must see it live

cooperluke 09-27-2004 07:13 AM

I think they are both very good looking! The new one just seems more actual, but it's definetely the same car!

True. I think that Alfa Romeo is one of the best rim manufacturers in the market. At least among the saloon car manufacturers.

Attie 09-30-2004 09:46 AM

I prefer the faclifted one. I think it has a better nose.

No Alfa is ugly and this one is just an evolution of what i consider the best looking hatch of recent times. I'd love to own one, maybe in a few years time i'll be able to get a sensible insurance quote on the 150 bhp JTD that must seriously shift, i don't care about their reliability reputation i'd have one over a boring jap box any day. But then i do drive a mini so its pretty clear reliability and practicality don't come at the top of my list when it comes to cars :P
