Thanks

Looks exactly the same as the previous model to me.

Oh boy.... yet another luke-warm coupe that will be buzzing around me like a bumble bee on the freeway and revving at every stoplight... ;)

The type s would make an awesome daily driver. Best interior for less than $50K.

Still needs larger wheels and a decent set of tires.

Z28 09-10-2004 08:53 PM

This is a front wheel drive car--not intended to be taken serious--one could drive it in the winter. What do you guys like as far as daily drivers are concerned(US market)?

na2o 09-10-2004 09:07 PM

doesn't look good but i like the interior

TT, A4, A6...Golf, Passat, Touareg...

crazidude 09-11-2004 12:58 AM

Hell the Accord has a better interior. This rivals a Civic almost. It's better, but its not much of an achievement.

Why would you say for less then 50k when this costs approx. 25k? your not helping your argument there at all and you're wrong anyways but i'm sure you know that by now

Gnome 09-11-2004 05:59 AM

The white background of the dials gives a nice sporty feel, but other than that I think the interior looks like cheap plastic...

That might be so becaust it is made from cheap plastic.

It's probably a fun car to drive. That still doesn't mean I'd buy one.

RSX -S gained weight this year, 2840 lbs.. the fully loaded celica GTS is 2500lbs..

rsx has a nicer interior, but the seating feel, i like celica..
i would pick up the celica knowing the 2005 is the last year of the celica..

they should introduce LSD into there FF line up's

I test drove them both in June and decided on a Trans Am WS6.

To be fair though, I thought the Celica GTS was better value for money, and it felt a bit quicker than the RSX-S, but then it is a very light car. On the other hand, I thought the RSX-S was a better quality, better looking vehicle and I'd have probably bought the RSX over the Celica in the end for that reason.

I wouldn't buy a GTS automatic though, the engine is really only suited to a manual transmission. But then I'd not buy an auto, period.

rachaderua 09-13-2004 08:46 PM

hummm it´s more low and 10 hps greater...looks good

the design overall in my opinion didn´t change too much..but it looks even better..i love this car for sure i would own it if i lived in US....great honda VTEC engine :D

wolfster 09-14-2004 07:48 PM

yeah toyota said the new RSX would be more integra-ish..still looks mainly like an RSX to me though..i hear it gets a wee bit more power

PaulGT2164 09-15-2004 12:41 AM

i would prefer the celica, but im biased =) i like the celicas looks and handling better, but the acura is a sharp car.....

the seats are better in the celica tho.....and i just seen where they are now making ITBs for the 2zz engine now.....that could be fun ;)

all the haters aside tho, both are cool cars, test drive them and see which you like better
i have driven a newer GTS and a newer RSX and i like the celica better
both offer good performance for the money, and both have good looks, and potential when it comes to modifications and are alot of fun to drive

not everyone can afford a vette......
