Does anyone have any pics or literature on the new Z06?

LS7 7.0L 427 V8 producing around 500 hp and 3100 lbs

The hood scoop looks like they took it from the viper. Does the Z06 still have the rear leaf suspension like the normal C6?

how likely is that 427 motor going to make it into the z06? i have heard that from a lot of other places so i really hope its true. that car is going to be badass. :shock:

well I guess dropping the C5R block in there would solve the problem easily but that's the easy way out.
And I'm sure they aren't going to build a totally different suspension for this car(in response to the question about the single transversly mounted lightweight leaf spring)
If you look at how much is shoved in the rear of a Corvette you might understand why they use what they use.

It's PS yeah but the info seems to be accurate. It's said that the only diff with the C6 will be bulged arched and a hood scoop, so it will prolly look close to this.

I've read it from a mod that knows a guy that works for GM. Mods don't lie huh RC?

Literature? Well one thing is thats its plain ugly, it doesnt look like anything is ever going to match the z06 look.

The only constant is the amount of change between that Photochop and the actual car... ;)

It's PSwork, but I hope that the final product will look like that. Epic, no other word for it :D

Just so you guys know and I'm sure RC already does, that is just someone from the Corvette Forums idea of what he wants it to look like. It is not at all representational of what the actual car will look like.

It is a photoshoped C5. You can tell be the interrior seats and the removable top is the same as the C5. The C6 has different contours.

well...I liked the first pic alot. it looked like a 575m to me though and not so much a viper. but...from the looks of it, there arent any real pics yet. so ill wait to judge it then. but thats a hell of alot of power for the money.
