The bastard rain turned my street into a freaking river nearly :roll: ... and i got pissed on when i went into town today.

We get one day of freaking sunshine, but we get this straight after, as we don't deserve the sun really :cry:

We've had about a week of gorgeous weather n a lil drizzle today. I don't think its gonna be too sunny for a week or so tho

It's all over the place at the moment. Throughout the day even though it's absolutely pissing it down, you find yourself sticking to everything you touch, and wanting to go and lie down in the rain just to cool off. For the past couple of days its been clear and dry here as well, I just hope all the rain finds it's way down to you soft southeners! :wink:

I only just got back from Singapore, and there's nothing quite like returning to a good 'ol English summer day of rain and wind. Then again, the shite weather is kind of a part of British culture now!

Yeh its amazing...a lovely weekend with near perfect weather followed by a complete reversal and its now been utter SHITE since Monday....thats the trouble with the british climate....ZERO consistency.

LOL, that's the reputation of England but i have to say that when i went to England (only once, in London), i had an entire week of sun, and it was in May :lol: Very lucky as it seems :wink:

Ahh yes that week in May is famous here....everyone still talks about it...the week when it didn't rain once....its like a legend...or maybe a myth as I just can imagine a week where it didn't rain once.

come over here to america, you can have snow in one state, rain in the next, wildfires in the next, and almost anything else inbetween. Any type of weather that you want you can get.

LOL typical weather,up north here it was fine and hot as hell for like 5 days straight and at night about 8pm it started raining but it was still crazy hot and i was still walkin around with just a shirt on outside.yesterday and today are different,pissing down and also,u try driving on roads like these goin on for 3 miles

yep your right,but its nuthin that surprises me.its liek a law that they have to dig up the road.............and leave it.they are working on it right now though but it must be tough in the rain but its hard to drive on as the ground has been lowered therefore the grids in the road have been raised and on a couple its scrapes the bottom of my front bumper which sucks :lol:

Here In Huddersfield its hot during the day, and then it rains like the matrix in the evening. I kinda like the rain tho, its relaxing to listen to.

BTW, on a completly differnt tack, I just realised that I commute the equivalent of Lands End to John o'Groats every 10 days.. ;) :lol:

Topgeartom today has got to of been the worst day for rain, no? The rain was unbelieveable!! I live on a hill and the road was like a river. So I thought I would get some pics like u and Gis did. I got soaked in the process :lol: was fun tho.

similar rain here yesterday,i also got a small 42 second clip of a thunder storm yesterday.i cought quite a could part of it.so if anyone can host a 7.8MB video so u can see it then let me know :D

lol, weathers been so odd today. Started off sunny, then we had a thunderstorm but with no rain. Then it rained shit loads on and off and then it was sunny again.

I know its messed up, i dunno what to do where shorts, a raincoat, hide from lighting bolts, or worry bout gettin sunburns. Decided to come on JW in the end, good choice i think :wink:

today has been screwed up, i got out on my bike today hoping to go for a bit of a ride - shorts n all! Then it absolutely pissed it down! it was thundering today, but no where near as bad as when i first posted the pics in the thread. I also have a vid of the thunder, it's 30 seconds, and 1.3mb - anyone know of some free hosting space???

LOL yeah I'm a lucky guy not to be killed by the merc :lol: Ill host both ya vids if you like, for a lil while. I'm not sure of the propper standard way of doing it, I only know my own way, but if ya happy wit that, or dont might tellin me how to do it your way thats fine. :D
