A very rare (for the UK) crossfire...(yes the same problem as before...taking a picture from a Ferrari of a crossfire doesnt make any sense.)

The wing is terrible, the "Xtreme" banner is just obscene. Whats so Xtreme? I hate the word Xtreme. He has a nice shopping list on his door as well. :|
One other thing, are those Ferrari wheels on it? or are they just ripoffs?

What you should have done was parked behind the Crossfire, got out with your camera and started looking the Crossfire over. Shake your head, walk away and start taking pics of the 355. That would be hilarious!

Sadly the Z owner was a customer...and he was even worse than the car...on Saturday he actually pulled it alongside the Ferrari...and looked at the Ferrari in disgust as if the Ferrari was a piece of SHIT. I honestly think he thought I was truly envious of him or something.

The only thing interesting about the Z is the F40 lookalike wheels. It even looks like it has the single bolt design...

I know the type - He must have spent about 20K to build that up and thinks that the rest of the world are either pussies for driving "slower cars" or spent big bucks to buy slower cars! :lol:

The crossfire is pure SHIT...I hate it so much...IMO it's one of the ugliest cars ever built...

I think the dude who was pullin along side ya ferrari and lookin at it like shit, was actually most likley jealous, I know people like that. They usually pull something down sayin its no good, but deep down inside they want one. And then actually if they do get one, its the best thing in the world.
As for the crossfire, I've only seen 1, and I gotta agree its rather ugly. Its like the ugly version of the 350Z.

Yeah I was back in the UK at Christmas, hired a Corsa to get around and these two kevs shouted something at me to the effect of 'nice girls car' - They were on foot ferchristsakes!!!

Go buy a MadTight civic on 20z and then lower it so you cant go over speed bumps then roll up and laugh.

The 300zx was baised on the F40's design.....but those stickers and wings just kill it.

I had a little chat with an owner, he came into the store where I work and I started questioning him about it in front of his son and two other employees...it went about like this:

First he walks in and says,
Crossfire: "Did you guys see my car out there?" (that's just asking for it...)
other employee: "Is it that Chrysler, those are so cool!"
C:"Yes, I just got it, I like it so much, its such a beautiful car" (I thought it was time to give him a hard time when he said that)
me: "Umm, why'd you get an automatic?"
C: "Well, well...I got it for my wife, she drives it"
me: "psh, So"
C: "Well, it has the paddle shifters, so you don't need a clutch but its just like a manual"
me: "That's no good, it still has a torque converter, it needs a clutch to be fun"
C: (a bit flustered) "Well, how about we trade cars for a day and then see if you still want your car"
me: "I don't care, yours is an automatic, I don't want to drive it, autos suck"
C: (a pause) "Well, my car is built in Germany, its based on the SLK500"
me: "Oh really, that's interesting" :P

I left it at that, I thought that was enough for one day. :P

the crossfire,im not really that keen on them.there are 2 of them in my town,both silver.they turn heads but only coz of the weird looks i think.

If you have any further information on the Z I would love to read the related articles or even find out if he is local to me or not.

ill try and find out if its the one i think it is.if it is the one then i think it has 400hp.but this is goin back to seeing it about a year ago.

I couldn't make my mind up about going down to see him to get some more info on his car....I decided that it wouldn't be a good idea in the end as he would think that I am actually interested / impressed by it compared to the Ferrari.

the crossfire is quite amis here in the states as well. i would like to blame it on mercedes handling of the tc system... and the gearbox... and the lowered standard of power (less then the previous years slk)
