Top 100 car related activities to do before you die
 
Just thought id start a lil topic to see if we could make a list of the 100 most "important" car related things car enthusiastics should do before you die. (Probably would be best if you limited each activity to one post so they're easier to count) Ill start the ball rolling:

1. Beg, borrow, steal, hire, or buy a plush GT (preferably and aston) and cruise through France to watch the Le Mans 24 hour.

Its gotta be done, and i WILL be doing doing this sometime in my life ;)

11. Buy a massive ranch, build yourself a mini-Spa karting circuit in the back and stage an annual race with invites going to Schumi, Kimi, J Gordon, Gronholm, Solberg, etc.

12. Drive a Mclaren F1 (the road going version)

13. Be driven around the F1 circuits at a cracking pace by Schumi in a Ferrari 360 6sp Manual

Agree. The Evo article with the Maranello and 360 was taken in the Stelvio pass I think - slobbered all over those pics

Little detail: the Stelvio is an Italian pass :D but still yes, the Alps in general, including France, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria have some mighty roads :)

How about we go back to the basics.

25. Know how to drive a manual. Including heal/toe, double cluthing, etc.
26. Participate in local driving event: autocross, drag, etc.

Actually, i think Spa is also a public road (eau rouge?) Anyone know?

Obviously, monaco is public road (drove this myself a few weeks back :D)

40. Get a fine for disturbing the peace by revving your S7 outside of Monaco cafes. ( It sounds like a fucking Nascar car at idle alone) If you never heard an American V8, think of it ass a demon chasing you. If you have, think of the sound as a Cammed LS1, then x that by 5.

I think parts of it are public road. But you can definitely drive on it. I know someone who has. The way he described it was kind of funny. "It's not too much. You turn in, the tires scream, and that's it." :lol:
