Yeah.. I know.. And it's boring to look at!!!
|
I think the announcers at Speed Channel said it best. Right now we don't think its much because we live at the time of the Schumi but 10 years from now we are gonna be astonished at what he was able to accomplish...We have witnessed the best driver of all time (at the moment)
|
you must admit its a real long list of achievements
|
well, maybe not boring, depends if you love or hate schumi, but you have to give him credit, he sure set a lot of records, look at some other drivers, what they have achieved, ex: trulli just won his first gp; compared to some drivers, and they all are great drivers, what schumi has done is monumental, perhaps some of his records will never be beaten, whether he is the best ever is debatable and many of us will continue to argue for and against, but his is without a doubt the most accomplished f1 driver, ever ...
|
I think most of the records will not be broken.
|
What a guy, if anyone can have as many achievements as he does, they can also be my superhero
|
Don't misunderstand me.. Actually, I've always been on Schumis side... I think it's fun that he sets all those records, but I don't look at the races anymore..
I miss the time when he and Hakkinen, he and Fisichella and he and (what's his name?) was having a war over the trophy... That was Formula 1 on its best... |
i dont think it could be boaring one ounce :) what is boring about going as fast as you can?
i think mabey its boring to read? im on Shumacher's side too |
I think he might be able to break Senna's pole record this season....(provided if Williams and BAR cannot improve faster than Ferrari)
|
Some people may find it boring from an entertainment point of view, but guys, guys we are living in the Schumi era and we should be very thankful. He will retire soon and we will be telling our children of times when this great man was dominating the sport and we saw it all with our own eyes.
The man is great and thats it. He trully loves what he is doing and that is what I like the most about him. The man races for pure pleasure, not money, not status(it is too cool not to see this guy in every magazine, he is just a normal guy who likes to spend his sunday behind a wheel of a race car). |
Those are just a few of the records that he has set.
and nubrun(Bruno or Zach) that was the most gay post i have ever read lmao |
wow! he's got almost every conceivable record in f1.
|
OK----so maybe we should list the records that he doesn't have!
Anyone? |

^^ o and 22 others
1.Rate of Champion (% of number of years won, to number of years raced, he can never beat fangio and 62.5% 2. Winning rate (number of races/number of wins, fangio again at 47.06% shumi could never beat this) 3.Pole to Wins with FL also Led every lap - (clark 9- shumi 3 i think) 4. Youngest winner 5. Oldest winner 6. Pole Position Rate 7. Poles in 1 year 8. Youngest Pole setter 9. Oldest Pole setter 10. Fastest Laps Rate 11. Fastest Lalps in 1 Year 12. Yougest Fastest Lap 13. Oldest Fastest Lap 14. Point Rate (might of beaten fangio) 15. Youngest Driver to get a point 16. Oldest Driver to get a point 17. Number of Race Start (Patrese 256) 18. Total number of laps (Patrese 11,346) 19. Youngest Starter 20. Oldest Starter 21. GP Retired 22. Number of season opening wins in a row, i think he tied it this year but not beat it |
number of consecutive championships. he is tied with fangio with 4 chamionships in a row. if he wins this one then its 5 which he will hold the record.
but some of those records you mentioned toonto, dont hold any real significance. like GP retired, no one wants to hold that record! |
16. Oldest Driver to get a point , Panis is approaching that record LOL
22. Number of season opening wins in a row, i think he tied it this year but not beat it ---- who cares I think the point is of all the most significant ones, he is still missing the all time pole record. That said, Senna is still the pole King, period. Hey stracing, nice avator!! |
thanx
but i think youve forgotten Panis won the 96 Monaco GP |
Yeah, Panis is not a bad driver, just that his is a bit down on luck and lack of a good car.
