you guys would be suprised how vulgar japanese tv can be. yes that's a real show and yes those kinds of programs are readily available on public television. the japanese government doesn't consider it tabboo to show sex on tv, but they will censor it enough to prohibit the viewing of the pubic region on camera. nonetheless if you like that kinda stuff then i strongly suggest taking a visit to japan.

however, i think the japanese people are kinda jaded by this public tv porno stuff. cuz like, i had a friend tape one hour of vulgar tv from japan and i watched it and less than a half hour through i was tired of it already. kinda weird huh?
